38 Awesome Crystals for Spiritual Growth
Crystals have always been rather appealing to me. There is something special about what they are, what they represent. They are more concentrated than regular rocks, they have more crystalline geometric patterns in their atomic structure than the cells in the human body do (sure, it may not be as fluid and moving, but that’s yin and yang for you) On my journey, I came across an old dusty book about crystals with a little piece of paper slipped inside. This is an X-Ray of the Atomic Structure of a Beryl Crystal Crystals operate much like a magnet, but think about it in relationship to energy beyond the 3rd dimension. You see waves, pushing and pulling on the energy all around it. All of the vibrations of these crystals are important, and sometimes the crystal you think you need the least, is the one you need the most Here is a list of the 38 Crystals from that secret piece of paper that I found, which I’ve remade on a printable PDF too so that you can have one as well. The Tao Te Ching Explained In Depth The Tao Te Ching, also known as the Dao De Jing, is an ancient attempt to point us toward our true nature written by the Chinese Sage, Lao Tzu, in 6th century B.C. Dao De Jing is best translated as "the Way and it's Power". The Dao cannot be revealed or explained adequately in words and yet this beautiful poem was made in an attempt to do so. The Dao along with the Zhuangzi, is a fundamental text for both religious and philosophical Daoism. Many Chinese artists, poets, painters, calligraphers and even gardeners have used the writings as a source of inspiration. Chapter 3 Do not glorify the achievers So the people will not squabble Do not treasure goods that are hard to obtain So the people will not become thieves Do not show the desired things So their hearts will not be confused Thus the governance of the sage: Empties their hearts Fills their bellies Weakens their ambitions Strengthens their bones Let the people have no cunning and no greed So those who scheme will not dare to meddle

The New Alchemy - Alan Watts Alan Watts an essay from This is It and Other Essays on Zen and Spiritual Experience, by Alan Watts, Vintage Books, 1973, copyright Alan Watts 1958, 1960. This essay was written in 1960. Besides the philosopher's stone that would turn base metal into gold, one of the great quests of alchemy in both Europe and Asia was the elixir of immortality. To many people such claims are deeply disturbing. However, it should be pointed out that there is nothing new or disreputable in the idea that spiritual insight Is an undeserved gift of divine grace, often conveyed through such material or sacramental means as the water of baptism and the bread and wine of the mass. A chemical of this kind might perhaps be said to be an aid to perception in the same way as the telescope, microscope, or spectroscope, save in this case that the instrument is not an external object but an internal state of the nervous system. This sensation raised a number of questions.

Why Awaken Kundalini? Everybody should know something about kundalini as it represents the coming consciousness of mankind. Kundalini is the name of a sleeping dormant potential force in the human organism and it is situated at the root of the spinal column. In the masculine body it is in the perineum, between the urinary and excretory organs. In the female body its location is at the root of the uterus, in the cervix. This center is known as mooladhara chakra and it is actually a physical structure. It is a small gland which you can even take out and press. To awaken kundalini you must prepare yourself through yogic techniques. Although kundalini is said to reside in mooladhara chakra, we are all at different stages of evolution, and in some of us kundalini may have already reached swadhisthana, manipura or anahata chakra. Once the multipetalled lotus of sahasrara blossoms, a new consciousness dawns. Whatever happens in spiritual life, it is related to the awakening of kundalini. Who can awaken Kundalini?

5 Ways to Get High Without Drugs or Plants By Kristohper Love| Since the beginning of time, humans have enjoyed getting high. From peyote to fasting, from booze to orgasm, people love to alter their consciousness and feel good. Some argue that addicts and alcoholics crave this transcendence more than the average person, noting that our brains are just wired differently. 7 Ways to Better Listen to Your Intuition Elizabeth Renter, naturalsociety.com | Have you ever been in a situation where your “gut feeling” told you one thing, but your rational mind said another? If you went with your brain rather than your intuition, there’s a good chance you ended up regretting your decision. Your intuition is the subconscious leader that many people fail to give proper respect to. “I define intuition as the subtle knowing without ever having any idea why you know it,” explains Sophy Burnham, bestselling author of The Art of Intuition, to The Huffington Post. It’s unconscious reasoning, the guidance that compels you to turn left when all signs may be pointing right. Intuition is commonly associated with New Age mysticism or a metaphysical way of thinking, but it doesn’t have to be so. Whether it’s deciding which job to take, which direction to turn when you’re lost, or how to handle a conflict in your family, intuition sometimes knows better than the rational mind. To better listen to your intuition, try:

People Can Draw Energy From Other People The Same Way Plants Do | Spirit Science and Metaphysics A biological research team at Bielefeld University has made a groundbreaking discovery showing that plants can draw an alternative source of energy from other plants. This finding could also have a major impact on the future of bioenergy eventually providing the evidence to show that people draw energy from others in much the same way. Members of Professor Dr. Olaf Kruse’s biological research team have confirmed for the first time that a plant, the green alga Chlamydomonas reinhardtii, not only engages in photosynthesis, but also has an alternative source of energy: it can draw it from other plants. Flowers need water and light to grow and people are no different. Plants engage in the photosynthesis of carbon dioxide, water, and light. “When energy studies become more advanced in the coming years, we will eventually see this translated to human beings as well,” stated Bader-Lee.
