Web 2.0 Science Tools By Laura Turner The following web2.0 sites would be useful for science educators at the high school and middle school level. Some would also be appropriate for higher elementary grade levels. There are many new ‘tools’ or websites that take advantage of the higher speed and bandwidth of today’s Internet. Web 1.0 tools/websites were text based and web2.0 tools/websites are designed for full-motion video, 3D animations and are generally interactive in some manner. Web 2.0 can also be described as the second round of new technology development and adoption. EcoKids This award-winning EcoKids web site is an interactive environmental web site for children, their families, and educators in Canada and around the world.

E in Italia?

Diatonic (Dulcimer-Style) Fretting - What it is, How and Why to Use It Related entries Most folks are familiar, at least by sight, with the six-string guitar – whether an acoustic guitar like a Martin or an electric guitar like a Fender Stratocaster™. So it is natural that when people think of frets, or a fretboard, they think of a guitar fretboard – an evenly distributed collection of frets that get closer together the further you go up the neck towards the guitar body. First, let’s start with what Diatonic (Dulcimer) fretting is NOT… On a standard guitar, like the Fender Strat mentioned above, or the cigar box guitar in the photo below, it is said to be fretted on a chromatic scale. The trade-off is that a chromatically fretted instrument gives you the most options when playing – you can play any song in any key (as long as you know where to put your fingers). Note in the photo of the cigar box guitar above, how the frets proceed up the neck towards the guitar body, with a slightly smaller space between each one. In summary…

Sorry — Human Parts — Medium We are women and we would like to apologize. We are sorry for how tall our hair, how big our bodies. We are sorry the grass is so muddy today and we’re sorry you stepped on our foot. We are sorry to eat so much, sorry we’re just not that hungry, sorry we’ve been asked to stand in front of you and say some words, and that they’re so long, or so short. We want to know if we said the right thing, the wrong thing. Our mothers are sorry they didn’t sort this whole thing out for us 50 years ago. We’re sorry if we forgot to mention this earlier, but we might not be able to have kids at all, the doctors still aren’t sure, and we’re just telling you now, so you can leave if you want to. On Friday night we said, I’m sorry, excuse me? We’re sorry this is so long and really not very funny anymore, we’re sorry for all the apologies forgotten even as we use the first-person plural. There are a few things we’ve never apologized for, but we’d like to.
