Je me rends compte que cela faisait un petit moment qu'il n'y en avait pas eu sur le blog : erreur réparée. Aujourd'hui, donc, voici la technique qui vous permettra de réaliser un mini carnet à glisser dans votre petit sac à main. Vous pourrez y noter tout ce qui vous passe pas la tête et même vos bonne résolutions pour ne pas les oublier. Le matériel nécessaire : - du papier A4 blanc (le classique) - une paire de ciseaux - un mini massicot (en option) - un pistolet à colle - du joli papier : origami, scrap et même du fabric tape ( enfai t, ce que vous avez sous la main). - du papier épais ( selon la couverture que vous réalisez). Les étapes de fabrication : a) Les pages du carnet : 1) Découpez des bandes de papier de même longueur et largeur avec une paire de ciseaux ou un massicot. 2) Prenez une bande et pliez-la en 2 dans le sens de la longueur. 3) Pliez-la ensuite en 2 dans le sens de la largeur. b) la couveture :
How to wrap a wire loop Making jewelry and pendants from your polymer clay will often require a little wire work, so here is a mini tutorial on how to make a secure wire loop. Step 1: Use the tip of round-nose pliers to grasp the wire right above the bead. Form a 90° bend in the wire. Step 2: Grasp the wire at the bend with your round-nose pliers and pull the tail wire over the top of the pliers' jaws.Here the top jaw of the pliers is in the loop. Step 3: Change the position of the pliers so the bottom jaw is in the loop. Step 4: Swing and bend the tail wire around the loop. Step 5 : Keep the tail wire horizontal as you coil it tightly down the neck wire. Step 6: Crasp the loop with flat nose pliers and tuck the end wire in as much as possible. Step 7: And trim with flush or side cutters. Done...except now I need another one for some earrings!
How To Hollow Out Rocks A lot of people have asked me how I hollow out river rocks to make my river rock necklaces, so I took photos of today's process to share with you. I recommend drilling softer sedimentary rocks (sandstone, limestone, etc). When scouring the beach for rocks, these tend to be well rounded. Those that are not rounded are probably harder igneous or metamorphic rock and are likely to break apart while drilling or even break your drill bit. Materials Needed: High speed rotary tool (I have a large, used drill press), but I've read that a dremel tool works well.A small (2mm diameter) and large (10mm) hollow, diamond-tipped coring bit.Plastic container to hold water so you can drill your stone under water (I use an old dog bowl). Lucky Wishing Stars Tutorial You’ve probably seen these little puffy origami stars before. They are really quick to make, and you don’t need any special materials to make them. You can buy lucky star pre-cut strips from origami stores, but you can just as easily make your own from medium weight coloured paper, e.g. scrapbooking paper, or even strips cut from magazine pages – as the strips are so narrow, the original text or image won’t be obvious in the finished star. To give you an idea of size, I’ve made stars in 3 different sizes to show you: blue stars (from pre-cut strips): 35cm x 1.25cmpink stars (from a magazine page): 30cm x 1cmgreen stars (scrapbook paper): 15cm x 0.6cm The finished star will be approx 1.5 x the width of your strip, so pick an appropriate size for the size of star you’d like to end up with. I make quite a few, in different shapes and weights, and although some designs can get a bit complex, the basic “one piece of wire” hoop style is quite easy to make. It’s been a while since I posted a new tutorial (sorry!), so tonight it’s a “how-to” on making hoops! You’ll need the basic jewelry tools (chain nose pliers, cutters, and round nose pliers), as well as some metal smithing tools (steel block, chasing hammer, and a steel ring mandrel). How to grasp the wire First, we cut 2 pieces of 20g dead soft round wire, each 3 1/4 inch long, and file/sand the ends flus. TECHNIQUE TIP: The closer the wire is to the tip of the pliers, the smaller the loop. Rotate the wire - create the loop Now, while holding the pliers firm, rotate the wire around one of the jaws to create a loop. Centering the loop Now we need to center the loop over the wire. I have been making popsicles like crazy (and eating them like crazy) so I could use the sticks for this project...you know, so they would be officially 'upcycled'. I'm really excited about the way these cute little bracelets turned out, and I can't wait to show you how I made them! TOOLS & SUPPLIES: • popsicle sticks (1 stick will make 2 bracelets) • craft knife • ruler • power drill with 1/32" drill bit • fine sandpaper (120-240 grit) • round needle file (optional) • container with water • wide rubber bands • cylindrical drinking glass (around 3" in diameter) • paintbrush • toothpick •Krylon Crystal Clear gloss finish spray (optional) • 32" 1mm leather or cord (cut into 2 16 inch pieces) • acrylic paints • *scrapbook paper (small scraps, at least 3/4" x 2 3/4") • *Mod Podge * You can either paint the wood with your own special design, or decoupage using the scrapbook paper and Mod Podge.

You just need to be a black and white photo, fill the jar with oil (preferably olive oil), add some dried flowers or branches and place the photo inside. It will look amazing! Sacs furoshiki Me revoilà enfin avec la suite des furoshikis. Pour rappel ce sont ces foulards savamment noués selon des techniques japonaises ancestrales pour tout porter et/ou empaqueter. Les furoshiki étaient un peu tombés en desuétude, mais devant l'ampleur des déchets de sacs plastiques, les associations écologiques japonaises et le ministère de l'environnement tentent de les remettre au goût du jour. Vous en avez eu quelques exemples dans mon articles sur les éco-emballages. Pour la solidité, le tissu est bien sûr important, mais les noeuds bien plus.
