Bacon Cheeseburger Chicken

Bacon Cheeseburger Chicken
Bacon Cheeseburger Chicken is definitely in the Top 3 Favorite Meals Ever according to Kevin. :) I like it too, because it’s easy way to amp up boring chicken breasts into an exciting, mouth-watering meal. :D Intrigued? Let’s get started. :) First, let’s start by making our own bacon bits. Let me pass along her words of wisdom. Arrange the bacon in a single layer in a large skillet over LOW to medium-low heat. Okay! In the skillet you used to fry the bacon, you have some bacon grease. Preheat your oven to 350, and spray a 9×13 or 8×8 baking dish with Pam (depending on how much chicken you have, if you use more than 2 breasts, go with the 9×13). Take a few boneless, skinless chicken breasts and cut them in half, right down the middle, and put them in the skillet. Sear 4-5 mins each side until lightly browned. With both sides of the chicken are browned, remove from skillet and place in baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Now it’s time to make our bacon bits! Back to the chicken.

Real, Juicy, Bacon Cheeseburgers Nothing says “summer” quite like thick, juicy, hamburgers — even better when they’re topped with bacon, melty cheese, and prepared just the way you like ‘em. Wanna try my recipe? It’s sure-fire, can’t-miss, and tummy-pleasin’. Come on, I’ll show you. Here’s what you’ll need. First things first. Now. I’m using the thinly sliced, “center cut” bacon. Okay. For hamburgers you’ll need ground beef with at least 15 to 20% fat. Now! Over the meat, pour 2 tbsp Dale’s… Sprinkle 1/2 package of dry Ranch Dressing… then flip it over and do the other side with the other 1/2 package… Now crack an egg in a coffee mug or bowl Scramble it with a fork And pour it over the meat With clean hands, gently break apart the meat and gently work everything into the meat. It should look about like this when you’re done. Form it into kind of a log and with a knife, divide the meat into 6 even sections Grab one of those sections and gently form a ball. Press it down it down with the, uh, press. And repeat! Just kidding.

Wish I Was There Mediterranean Pasta I first made this dish several years ago for a ladies’ night I was hosting at my house. Instantly a hit, I knew I’d be adding it to my list of favorite easy meals. Adding (or not adding) the meat at the very end makes it vegetarian friendly. There is a lot of dumping from jars and cans into a pan involved and not a lot of cutting and chopping. The fresh basil makes it perfect for summer and summer it is, as evidenced by the heatwave we’ve been experiencing here in the Midwest. Adapted from Tyler Florence Crispy Chicken Sandwich Topped with a Fried Egg, Prosciutto and Spinach-Garlic Aioli As a grownup, I now know that breakfast-for-dinner wasn’t a loving concession but a well-orchestrated cop-out. Chocolate Chip Lava Cookies | Kevin & Amanda - StumbleUpon I am so in love with these darn chocolate lava cookies! What is it about a warm, gooey chocolate chip cookie stuffed with decadent, rich, melted chocolate that makes it so irresistible?? Especially when topped with vanilla ice cream. All you really need for these fabulous cookies is your favorite cookie dough and a bag of chocolate chips. Since these cookies are absolutely gushing with delicious rich chocolate, my favorite chocolate chips for this recipe are the Hersey’s Milk Chocolate chips. Now let’s make some chocolate lava cookies! Place the flattened cookie dough in the bottom of a well-greased standard sized muffin tin. Now for our gooey, rich milk chocolate filling. Lay the Ziploc bag flat in the microwave, spreading out the chocolate chips in a single layer. Cut a small tip off the Ziploc bag and layer over the cookies. Heaven help me. Scoop and flatten the remaining dough, and place on top of your lava cookies. Now here’s how I like my cookies. Mama mia. 1. 2. 3.

Death By Oreo Cupcakes They are probably the best Oreo cakes I have ever tried. A lot of cake's that I have experimented with before are like a vanilla cake with bits of Oreo in them, which didn't really give them enough Oreo flavor. But these were a lot better. I used a dark chocolate fudge cake mix instead of just a regular chocolate cake mix, which went really well with the cookies and gave the cakes just a little more flavor. So, in this recipe there is Oreo's in the cake, in the frosting, and at the bottom is a Oreo surprise. That's right, you put a whole Oreo at the bottom of the cake. Ingredients 1 package Oreo Cookies, regular size 1 package Mini Oreo Cookies, for decoration (optional) 1 package chocolate cake mix (mix according to directions on box) 8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature 1/2 cup butter (1 stick), room temperature 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla extract cupcake liners Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream together butter and cream cheese. foodsnots.com

Braided Spaghetti Bread & The official blog of Americas favorite frozen dough We are carb lovers at our house, so when I saw the Braided Spaghetti Bread recipe in the Rhodes Home Baked Family Favorites with frozen dough cookbook I knew we would love it. This is a really simple recipe; it just takes a little planning for thawing the dough. It will take 2-3 hours for the bread loaf to thaw to room temperature or 1-2 hours for the rolls to thaw to room temperature. You will need: 1 Loaf Rhodes Bread Dough or 12 Rhodes Dinner Rolls, thawed to room temperature6 oz spaghetti, cooked 1 cup thick spaghetti sauce 8 oz mozzarella cheese, cut into 1/2 –inch cubes 1 egg white Parmesan cheese Parsley flakes Spray counter lightly with non-stick cooking spray (or use parchment paper). Roll loaf or combined dinner rolls into a 12x16-inch rectangle. Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Remove wrap from dough. Make cuts 1 ½-inches apart on long sides of dough to within ½-inch of filling. Begin braid by folding top and bottom strips toward filling. This was fantastic!

Chicken Tikka Masala My husband is happy because I cook more at home. I kind of stopped cooking when I had my second boy… I’ve having sleeping problems since… and I still am. But it’s getting better… When you don’t sleep, you don’t usually have energy to do anything. I like to cook Basmati rice when I cook Indian dishes… I think Basmati makes Indian food taste even better. Chicken Tikka Masala Ingredients: 1 cup plain yogurt 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice 2 teaspoons ground cumin 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon cayenne 1 teaspoon paprika 2 teaspoons black pepper 1 tablespoon minced ginger 1 teaspoon salt 3 boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into pieces Directions: Combine all ingredients except chicken in a bowl. Sauce: 1 tablespoon butter 1 clove garlic, minced 1 jalapeno pepper finely chopped 2 teaspoons ground cumin 2 teaspoons paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 8-oz can tomato sauce 1/2 cup cream 1/2 cup 2% milk 1/4 cup chopped cilantro Melt butter in large skillet over medium heat.

Slutty Brownies - StumbleUpon Now I don’t want to over sell this, so I’m going to be conservative and simply say, that these are… The Best Brownies In The WORLD. I know, big statement. They’re called Slutty Brownies because they’re oh so easy, and more than a little bit filthy. They’re best served warm from the oven, with good quality vanilla ice cream (devastatingly I didn’t have any in the freezer this time, so I guess I’ll just have to make them again). They take about 45mins to make, including baking time. The ultimate comfort food, whipped up within the hour. You will need… 1 Box of cookie mix, 1 Box of brownie mix, 2 Eggs, 2 Packs of Oreos (double stuffed ones are even better if you can find them) Some oil & your favourite ice-cream (optional) Preheat your oven to 350F, 180C, gas mark 4. Line a baking tray with grease proof paper. Squidge (technical term) the cookie dough into a lined baking tray, until it covers the bottom. Cover this layer with your Oreos. Mix up your brownie batter. & pour over your Oreos. Bake for 30mins.

Deep-Dish Chocolate Chip Cookie for One & Healthy Food For Living By Lauren Zembron, on July 20th, 2012 I know, I know… it seems as though I’ve been posting sweet recipe after sweet recipe (with a little something cheesy thrown in); but you see, after what seemed like a long time during which sweets were unappealing during my first trimester, (what can I say, pregnancy does some strange things to your body!), they’re apparently back with a vengeance on my appetite’s menu. Sooooo if you’re a sweet freak like me, all I can say about my recent recipe post pattern is: you’re welcome. And if you’re not? Now let’s get to this deep-dish cookie. Jenny from Picky Palate recently posted a recipe for a microwavable chocolate chip cookie made in a ramekin that looked so unbelievably delicious I had to make my own (slightly healthier) version. I cut out half of the sugar, subbed in whole wheat pastry flour, and used grain-sweetened chocolate chips (which have less sugar than semi-sweet chips). Now I’m under no delusion that even my version is healthy.
