onlinefacilitation : Online Facilitation The onlinefacilitation listserv is for discussion about the skills, techniques and issues around online facilitation in a variety of Internet online environments and virtual communities. The list is not intended to be a commercial venue and no posting implies commercial endorsement. But since many members appreciate keeping up to date with products, services and job news, announcements are welcome on the list if the word ANNOUNCEMENT is included in the header. For job postings, please include the word JOB in the header. This will allow those not interested in commercial information to delete the email. If the announcement or job postings grow in volume, we will consider splitting of separate lists for those functions. Due to the increase number of spammers, all memberships must be approved by the list owner and her team of wonderful volunteer moderators. I apologize for this inconvenience and "controlling nature" of the moderation, but the reality is spammers are wrecking the "commons."

Your Own Infographics A picture is worth a thousand words – based on this, infographics would carry hundreds of thousands of words, yet if you let a reader choose between a full-length 1000-word article and an infographic that needs a few scroll-downs, they’d probably prefer absorbing information straight from the infographic. Colored charts and illustrations deliver connections better than tables and figures and as users spend time looking back and forth the full infographic, they stay on the site longer. While not everyone can make infographics from scratch, there are tools available on the Web that will help you create your very own infographics.
