Each drawing begins with a few simple shapes printed in red ink. The following steps also show the earlier drawings in black and the new marks and shapes in red. A blank space near each step lets you practice your drawing skills. When you have finished, use a pen or fine felt-tip marker to darken the pencil marks that make up the finished drawing.

Orientalist Art of the Nineteenth Century Design How cool is this table?! It’s one the unique creations by French designer/carpenter Damien Hamon of Daha Furniture. Damien has created a whole array of furniture that’s unlike anything I’ve seen before. (Link via Muuuz) This table by Bram Hendriks utilitzes the natural forms of the wood to create a unique table unlike anything I’ve seen before. Design Glut is a Brooklyn-based design studio founded by Pratt graduates Liz Kinnmark and Kegan Fisher. The world of strange bicycles and bike mods is full bizarre and unique creations. This bike called the Roller Shuttle was what first inspired me to find other interesting bicycles. The Forkless Cruiser was Olli Erkkila’s graduation project at the Institute of Design in Lahti, Finland. Williams British Handmade designed this non-traditional collection of luggage, and while I’m not exactly sure what it’s all used for, it looks really cool.
