NIV Exposed! This generation has a hunger for perversion. What was perversion just a few years ago, is now "normal". What was "hiding" in the closet is now "parading" in our streets. Perversion has found a welcome home - from the living room, to the White House; from our churches - to even the word of God! Our friend Webster, defines "pervert" as 1. to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true... 2. to twist the meaning or sense of: misinterpret (Webster's New Collegiate Dictionary, 1977, p.856). A perfect definition of The New International Version (NIV): "to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true" and "to twist the meaning or sense of". The NIV perverts the deity of Jesus Christ! I TIMOTHY 3:16: The clearest verse in the Bible proclaiming that Jesus Christ was God. The NIV perverts the virgin birth! LUKE 2:33: The King James Bible reads, "And JOSEPH and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him." The NIV removes the blood of Jesus Christ! That's right!

The Snares of the Devil (The Word of God and His instruction) We live in a world that is filled with entertainment, technology, and instant-access information. It is a world where movies can be watched at any time during the day or night and practically anywhere where one has internet access. Time is stolen as people spend time seeking their own interests and hobbies. The Snares of the Devil The enemy of man is a very cunning and crafty being named Lucifer or Satan. Isaiah 14:12-15 (bold added) 12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! 13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: 14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. 15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Lucifer became Satan, the deceiver. Genesis 3:1-5 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. The Devil is a Liar

Did Jesus go to hell between His death and resurrection? Question: "Did Jesus go to hell between His death and resurrection?" Answer: There is a great deal of confusion in regards to this question. The concept that Jesus went to hell after His death on the cross comes primarily from the Apostles’ Creed, which states, “He descended into hell.” There are also a few Scriptures which, depending on how they are translated, describe Jesus going to “hell.” In studying this issue, it is important to first understand what the Bible teaches about the realm of the dead. In the Hebrew Scriptures, the word used to describe the realm of the dead is sheol. Sheol/hades was a realm with two divisions—a place of blessing and a place of judgment (Matthew 11:23; 16:18; Luke 10:15; 16:23; Acts 2:27–31). Some of the confusion has arisen from such passages as Psalm 16:10–11 as translated in the King James Version: “For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. . . . The PURSE-onality Challenge: Welcome to The PURSE-onality Challenge! When I walked into Barnes and Noble and started browsing through a copy of A Complaint-Free World five years ago, I considered myself the most optimistic, positive, encouraging person I knew. In fact, I joked to my husband that we needed to buy two (maybe three) dozen copies to give all the negative people in my life who drag me down with their never-ending complaints, criticism, and gossip. Than I read a little farther. And the author had the nerve to suggest that of all the negative people in my life, I might be the worst of the worst! That. So I decided to take the Complaint-Free challenge: 21 days with no complaining. The instructions were simple: I was to start each day with the bracelet on my left wrist. For accountability, I told my students what I was doing. Did they ever warm up to the “challenge” of letting me know when I complained. The shocker was that each time took me totally by surprise. Sound Familiar? ___ “I speak Sarcasm fluently.” What is The PURSE-onality Challenge?

Instapray Prayer App - your safe place to give and get prayer support! untitled Character Qualities When we first started homeschooling the push for teaching character was in full swing. It was huge in the public school system. It also permeated the homeschooling curriculum offerings. I was a young mom then with two young sons. I found several lists of character qualities, but they did not have definitions that my boys could understand. This list and its corresponding definitions have been growing and expanding over the 17 years we have been homeschooling. So I'm rolling out the list that I have developed over the course of seventeen years. Each Friday I will share a new Character Quality with you along with it's definition, Bible Verse, Bible Character and a {free} coloring page for you to download. {Just click on the image below for your {free} coloring page for personal use.} Character Quality Posts

EcoPreacher: Noah on Mt. Ararat - The Floods of Climate Change Sermon Series: Mountaintop ExperiencesPart One: Mt. Ararat and Noah The Rev. Texts: Genesis 8:1-4, 6-12, 11-17; Matthew 24:36-44 July 13, 2014 Mountains in the Bible were extremely significant, as they were for all ancient peoples: Mountains are naturally assigned religious significance and symbolism for three main reasons: 1) their height projecting above the surrounding area, 2) the feeling of grandiosity and awe one experiences upon viewing a mountain from a distance; and 3) the vista of the sky and the earth when standing on top of the mountain that is unmatched at lower levels. In fact, the ancient peoples of Egypt, Babylon and in the Mayan culture of South America thought so highly of mountains that they attempted to create their own. This summer we’ll be touring these lofty heights - beginning today with Noah on Mt. Our tour begins with Noah on Mt. Ararat is the tallest peak in what is now modern-day Turkey. There are different theories as to what caused this global catastrophe.

The Gifts of Healings One of the power gifts is called the gifts of healings. I know the King James Version of the Bible lists this as "gifts of healing" but, in the Greek, both words are plural—gifts of healings. Why is it plural? Some sicknesses are caused by accidents, some by personal neglect. A gift of healing is God's power flowing down through your body to drive out afflictions in Jesus' name. A gift of healing is a gift of power that God drops on people, but it's not manifested in the same way all the time. Sometimes God's healing will drop on you and you won't even feel anything. When a gift of healing comes, it comes so quickly. There are all kinds of ways for you to be healed. A gift of healing works differently. Some people receive God's healing power and the gifts of healings and nobody touches them. What is it? It's an amount of power that God chooses to give as He manifests Himself. You say, "Why doesn't He give it to everybody who sick?" I don't know. You've got to tell them.
