Man Finds Suspicious White Powder in Florida Keys, Decides to Snort It, and Dies UPDATE: The Monroe County Sheriff's Office tells us Thomas Swindal died of a cocaine overdose. On the list of things not to do when you discover a mysterious package full of white powder, snorting the substance is probably near the top of the list. Unfortunately for 53-year-old Thomas Swindal, he did not heed that advice and died last week after he thought he'd just found a floating kilo of blow, according to the Monroe County Sheriff's Office. Swindal was fishing with his brother off the shore of Marathon when they found a brick floating in the water they believed to be a package of cocaine, police say. Swindal's brother told police that Thomas Swindal decided to put the brick on their boat and, when he looked back at his brother a bit later, noticed he had the package open and was snorting it up. Swindal's brother then threw all the sharp things and the mystery package of powder off the boat before signaling state Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission officers to rescue them.

The seven-inch golden curls sprouted from his lip when he hit maturity, but he has grown so attached to his mo that he refuses to let stable manager Hayley Coxteth anywhere near him to cut it off. Usually horses will get their ‘tache cut every six months to keep it from getting in their mouth. But Alfie has been grooming his mo for five years and it has now fully overgrown both top and bottom lips. Just the sight of scissors makes Alfie toey and he’s been known to bolt across the stable and away to safety just to avoid the snip. Hayley, 20, told the Daily Mail: ‘He is a very headstrong horse and is very proud of his moustache. ‘He is a real character. ‘It was bizarre when I first saw it and my first inkling was we need to shave it off. ‘You have to be very brave to try and tackle his curls.’

All Although the pending results are expected to showthat all 19 US banks are capable of surviving future shocks, but some will only be able to do that if they receive further capital injections. So does that mean that they don’t all pass and some need capital injections to be able to pass? Or does it mean that there was no chance that any bank would fail the stress test because if they were found to be lacking they would find themselves the recipients of a nice healthy welfare (bailout for rich people) cheque and hence would then pass the test? I wish my exams were like that! Just like i wish i could ring fence all my bad trades over the past few years…ummm, not that there have been that many of course!
