Go word hunting Trots en kylig novembermorgon klev vi ut på skolgården för att ha ute-engelska igen. Den här gången för att jaga ord! Alla instruktioner gicks igenom i klassrummet men själva uppdraget utfördes ute. Genom uppdraget gavs eleverna möjlighet att träna ett av huvudsyftena i engelska "att utveckla tilltro till sin förmåga". Utifrån sina tidigare kunskaper och erfarenheter kunde de skapa ord med hjälp av bokstavskombinationer samt även använda sig av strategin att slå upp i ett lexikon. Att varje bokstav hade ett värde peppade även eleverna att söka upp lite mer komplicerade ord. Planerings- och bedömningsstöd i engelska | Min undervisning I facebookgruppen engelska i år 6-9 dök det tidigare upp en fråga om hur man gör en LPP. Jag har under året gjort ett par som ska underlätta arbetet vid dels planeringen och vid bedömningen. Så de kommer här nedan: Först blev jag nyfiken på vad som skiljer år 6 mot år 9 och vad vi ska lägga in i undervisingen på högstadiet. Och en som visar den röda tråden i engelska Jag ville sedan också strukturera förmågorna med vad som står i det centrala innehållet och gjorde en mall för perception samt reception med matriser i dem som visar vad som bedöms vid NP och vad som inte kommer fram. A typical and english breakfast! Je participe au Rallye liens : La cuisine à l'école organisé par Maîtresse Myriam. A typical and english breakfast! Quoi de plus sympathique que d'organiser un petit déjeuner typiquement anglais? Cela fait trois ans qu'au mois de juin, j'organise un petit déjeuner en anglais en classe. Nous préparons ce moment en apprenant le vocabulaire nécessaire en classe et un petit dialogue (voir document) pour que chaque enfant puisse passer sa commande. Je regroupe les tables par 4 pour les enfants soient par 4, l'un des 4 enfants sera le serveur. Le serveur accueille les camarades, les installent et leur présente le menu. Vous trouverez dans ce document l'organisation détaillée, le matériel nécessaire, les flashcards petit et grand modèle, le menu à cocher par les enfants et le dialogue qu'ils auront à connaître. Vidéo intéressante à montrer aux enfants soit la veille du jour du petit déjeuner soit après, en conclusion. Une chanson enjouée pour évoquer le petit déjeuner...
Engelska I samarbete med Enköpings kommun, och som en del av mitt försteläraruppdrag, arrangerades igår (140423) något som vi kallade för bokinspiration på huvudbiblioteket. Bibliotekarie Andreas Frid presenterade engelska böcker för barn och ungdomar som vi lärare kan arbeta med i undervisningen. Foto: Cecilia Bergentz Andreas presenterade i huvudsak böcker från förlaget Barrington Stoke, vilket är ett brittiskt förlag. Böckerna utspelar sig ofta i London eller i Londons förorter och är relativt tuffa böcker med mogna ämnen som lockar elever från åk 4 och uppåt. De har ett enkelt typsnitt och är ofta lättlästa. Ett annat förlag som Andreas presenterade var Orca Soundings och böckerna han presenterade därifrån passar elever från ca åk 8 och uppåt, även gymnasium. Moreover, the presentation can look good and induce the students to study the words. ADVERT: Surprisingly, research shows that it is not so effective as teaching unrelated items.
