Nanotech breakthrough: get ready for graphene
The exciting one-atom thick super material can now be produced in ample quantities and high quality. Rapid improvements in nanotechnology are now expected. Technology improvements are about to get dramatically ultra-fast. Exciting sustaining and disruptive innovations are on the way for just about every digital appliance, from touchscreen tablet computing to solar cells, according to a Science Daily report.
Some thoughts on Prometheus
On Friday night I caught a preview of Ridley Scott’s much anticipated Prometheus, and since despite the slightly OTT security they didn’t make me sign anything agreeing to an embargo, I thought I’d record my thoughts about this flawed, frustrating but intermittently brilliant film. The first thing to say is that you should ignore the misinformation about it not being a prequel to Alien, because it is, quite explicitly (and sometimes to its detriment). Indeed if you’ve seen the trailer you’ve probably got the basic idea: trail of archaeological clues lead humans to distant planet, hope turns to terror, horrible secrets consume them.

Baby Bear And Wolf Play Together At Woodland Zoo Gift Shop
They were unlikely friends, a grizzly bear cub and a wolf pup. But the pair shared a friendship that lasted beyond their days tumbling around the gift shop at the Woodland Zoo as youngsters. Six years after the video was shot, Lil' Bear and Tala still remain close, according to footage posted by Dennis Crossland, an employee at the former Pennsylvania zoo. The clip features some photos of the rambunctious duo all grown up and seemingly posing for the camera.
