Making the petals of the flower To make your first flower take your circle and sl st the color you chose for your flower petals into any DC st. Picture of first flower To make the second flower and the remaining flowers for the first row you will need to make it like you did the first flower, only stop after the 15th petal chain, do not attach the 15th petal to the center of the flower YET you need to stop and give yourself a tail of about 150 cms (meter and a half) or about 59 inches of yarn and then cut it, because you are going to need to do some weaving. Take your 15th petal ch and weave it into one of the flower petals of the first flower you made, then sl st. Ch 10 for 16th petal and weave it into the next petal on first flower, Sl st to connect and ch 1 fasten off. Related:  sacs/bagstutos crochetCrochet

Spud & Chloë — Blog Hi Spud & Chloë Friends, I am happy to bring you a fun new free pattern today. This pattern is a little different than others I’ve done before. The pattern is for either a scarf out of Spud & Chloë Outer or for a bookmark out of Spud & Chloë Fine. It is the exact same pattern only done in a super bulky weight yarn for the scarf and in a fingering weight yarn for the bookmark. All you change is the size of the needles and the weight of the yarn. The other unusual aspect of this pattern for me is that I used a stitch dictionary for the leaf pattern in this design. I knit the scarf version of Leaf using 2 skeins of Outer in the Peat colorway. The scarf measures 4 inches by 76 inches, using up most all of the 2 skeins of Outer. The bookmark is about 1.5 inches wide and about 10-inches long. Have fun with your new scarves or bookmarks! Here is the Ravelry page for Leaf! Click here to download the free pattern for Leaf!

Snoopy Crochet Pattern, Part 2. Here is a diagram of how I sewed the mouth on, where "^" represents where I pulled the needle up, and "v" is where I pushed it down. The numbers represent the order that I sewed the mouth. There are 4 places that my needle actually went through; those are: The 2 corners of the mouth, and 2 middle sections (where the straight line starts and ends). I'm not well versed in sewing, so this is my own little ghetto way of doing it. Of course, you can always find your own way of sewing on his mouth. Phew.
