Have you discovered any great resources on the other sites featured in this series? Topmarks was first created in 1998 by Sue Spolton, a former primary school teacher. She continues to run the site today, assisted by a small team. The site aims to help teachers, children and parents find quality educational resources on the internet through their educational search engine. All sites that they feature are hand-picked and are constantly being checked, with new sites added or removed if there are adverse changes. Two of the most popular areas of the site are the interactive whiteboard and educational games sections where users can browse by subject, age group and topic.
