Although classical optimistic concurrency control has the advantages of non-blocking and deadlock free, it has the problems of late conflict detection and wasted transaction restarts. Peers in an overlay wireless network are faced with low bandwidth connection and frequent disconnection problems, hence, conventional concurrency control cannot be applied correctly to provide concurrency control management for long-duration transactions of a P2P object-oriented database system. Although some new approaches reduce the number of transactions restarts and improve response time by dynamically adjusting the sequential order, they are still some unnecessary transactions restarts and delay in response time which affects correctness of distributed transactions on a P2P protocol.
