HTH moocs High Tech High is proud to present the launch of two, free, MOOCs (Massive Online Open Courses). These MOOCs will focus on school creation and the implementation of deeper learning strategies. TICMooc | Un Mooc pour intégrer les TICE dans sa classe. Les inscriptions pour ce Mooc seront ouvertes à la mi mai 2014. Pourquoi TICMooc? L’idée de ce TICMooc est née au sein même de mon école à l’issue d’une réunion de concertation avec mes collègues, où, discutant de la place des TICE dans la classe, je faisais le constat que l’équation -une salle de classe, un groupe-classe, un enseignant, un programme à transmettre, était bien peu favorable à l’arrivée des nouveaux outils de communication dans l’enseignement. Participant au Mooc Elearn², j’ai imaginé la création d’un espace destiné à une recherche-action où des enseignants viendraient partager leurs expériences des TICE avec leurs élèves afin d’essayer, un tout petit peu, de faire avancer le « mammouth » dans cette voie. Mooctivity | MOOC Search Engine and Social Network Ne confondons pas MOOC et MOC MOOC est un terme à la mode. Du coup tout le monde à tendance à vouloir l’utiliser pour quelque chose en ligne qui s’approche de la formation. Du coup, il peut être nécessaire de revenir sur une définition simple. Un MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) c’est : Un cours. Un parcours d’apprentissage est proposé ;En ligne. Ce qui est nouveau dans les MOOC, c’est donc l’accès à tous, les interactions rendues possibles par une diversité du public, le fait de pouvoir tirer parti de l’abondance des ressources disponibles et des outils participatifs du web. Les MOOCs connectivistes (comme ITyPA) permettent de tirer pleinement de l’architecture distribuée du Web. Certains organismes commencent à parler de cours ouvert à un nombre important de participants, mais sans que l’accès soit ouvert à tout internaute. Il n’empêche. In this (nearly 2 hour online) talk Stephen Downes, one of the originators of the Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) format, described the organization and management of a MOOC, beginning with the arrangement of technology, organization of learning materials, communications with students, support tasks, and interaction with guest presenters. This talk is based on fifteen years’ experience designing and delivering web-based instruction, as well as knowledge amassed though the delivery of six MOOCs to almost ten thousand students since 2008.
