Adapted from a letter sent to Henry Makow Ph.D. Want to share an event with you, that we experienced this evening.. Dave had over $1000 dollars in his back pocket (in his wallet). Believe it or not, it was his 'wallet'. We could have left it at that, but we have also paid attention to the European Union and the 'rfid' tracking devices placed in their money, and the blatant bragging of Walmart and many corporations of using 'rfid' electronics on every marketable item by the year 2005. Dave and I have brainstormed the fact that most items can be 'microwaved' to fry the 'rfid' chip, thus elimination of tracking by our government. So we chose to 'microwave' our cash, over $1000 in twenties in a stack, not spread out on a carasoul. Now we have to take all of our bills to the bank and have them replaced, cause they are now 'burnt'. We will now be wrapping all of our larger bills in foil on a regular basis. What we resent is the fact that the government or a corporation can track our 'cash'.

Adam Rainer Adam Rainer (1899 – 4 March 1950) is the only person in recorded history to have been both a dwarf and a giant.[1] Rainer was born in Graz, Austria-Hungary.[2] In 1917, at age 18, he was measured at 122.55 cm (4 ft 0.25 in). A typical defining characteristic of dwarfism is an adult height below 147 cm (4 ft 10 in). Then, likely as a result of a pituitary tumor, he had a dramatic growth spurt so that by 1931 he had reached a height of 218 cm (7 ft 2 in).[3] As a result of his gigantism he became bedridden for the rest of his life.[2] When he died in 1950 he had reached a height of 234 cm (7 ft 8 in).[4] His feet measured 33.3 cm (13.1 inches)[citation needed], and his hands 23.9 cm (9.4 inches)[citation needed]. He weighed only 109 kg (241 pounds)[citation needed]. Notes[edit] External links[edit] Entry at FindaGrave.com (no grave photo; cremated)

A team of Italian researchers at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome have discovered that this molecule, called CREB1, is triggered by "caloric restriction" (low caloric diet) in the brain of mice. This work was led by Giovambattista Pani, researcher at the Institute of General Pathology, Faculty of Medicine at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome, directed by Professor Achille Cittadini, in collaboration with Professor Claudio Grassi of the Institute of Human Physiology. "Our hope is to find a way to activate CREB1, for example through new drugs, so to keep the brain young without the need of a strict diet," Dr Pani said. [ Print | E-mail AAAS and EurekAlert!

Windows 7 gets the Minority Report treatment using Kinect Newly-developed software allows the Microsoft Kinect gesture-based gaming platform to be used to control the Windows 7 operating system Image Gallery (9 images) In the 2002 movie Minority Report, part of the “way out there” 2054 technology was a computer system that Tom Cruise navigated his way through via arm and hand gestures. That technology – minus the holograms – has now officially arrived 44 years ahead of schedule, thanks to the design team at tech firm Evoluce. View all The new software, which acts as a bridge between Kinect and Windows 7, is based on Evoluce’s Multitouch Input Management driver. 8 Things Everybody Ought to Know About Concentrating - StumbleUpon “Music helps me concentrate,” Mike said to me glancing briefly over his shoulder. Mike was in his room writing a paper for his U.S. History class. On his desk next to his computer sat crunched Red Bulls, empty Gatorade bottles, some extra pocket change and scattered pieces of paper. In the pocket of his sweat pants rested a blaring iPod with a chord that dangled near the floor, almost touching against his Adidas sandals. On his computer sat even more stray objects than his surrounding environment. Mike made a shift about every thirty seconds between all of the above. Do you know a person like this? The Science Behind Concentration In the above account, Mike’s obviously stuck in a routine that many of us may have found ourselves in, yet in the moment we feel it’s almost an impossible routine to get out of. When we constantly multitask to get things done, we’re not multitasking, we’re rapidly shifting our attention. Phase 1: Blood Rush Alert Phase 2: Find and Execute Phase 3: Disengagement
