French Onion Mac & Cheese
Umm, so if you’re watching your weight, you may want to click back to the last page you viewed right about now…. I tend to cook healthy dishes most of the time, but decided to go all in on this one and it was so worth it! I was in the mood for some comfort food this week, and my cute little French Onion Soup bowls were begging to be used again, so I dreamed up this French Onion Mac & Cheese!
Pepperoni Pizza Muffins Recipe
When I’m online looking for dinner inspiration, I often search for recipes that take something my family loves and make it into something new. Since pizza is one of my family’s favorite treat, I try to find new ways to incorporate it into our menu – kinda like I did with the Fried Pizza Bites. When I stumbled onto a recipe from the Noble Pig, I knew I had to try it out on my family! They absolutely loved it! The recipe was simple, only required a few ingredients and didn’t take long at all to prepare! Remember, I like to keep things simple and fast in the kitchen, and this recipe is definitely both!
makes » how to make a rainbow cake!
Aaannnndddd, she’s back! So I did mention something about health and/or diet food in my last post, and while this recipe is the latter, it is most certainly not to be confused with the former. I posted about my rainbow cake here, and it got a lot of traffic on over to my livejournal, and everyone wanted the “recipe.” The cool thing is that if you’re making something so distractingly colourful, people will think it’s delicious no matter what. This presents me with the option to use an old Weight Watchers trick—the one-point cupcake. Except I’m making a cake and I created my own frosting.

Magic Sauce Recipe
I call this the magic sauce recipe. In part, because it makes everything it touches shimmer with deliciousness. It's magic like that. Technically, it's a riff on a chimichurri sauce - one that veered off the rails in a big way.

We came up with this recipe when we opened Beecher's. Ramen Hacks: 30+ Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Instant Noodles
SLIDESHOW: Ramen Hacks: 30+ Easy Ways to Upgrade Your Instant Noodles [Photographs: J. Kenji Lopez-Alt] Ramen in the U.S. has come a long way. Once known only in its 10-for-a-dollar instant-lunch form—a staple of offices and dorm rooms all around the '80s and '90s—high-end real ramen shops are springing up left and right on both coasts and everywhere in between.
Watermelon Lime Sorbet Slices
A sweet and tangy watermelon lime sorbet is a great way to cool off in the summer. As a bonus, this recipe is frozen back in the watermelon rind and cut off into slices. It’s hot. The type of heat where when you step outside the door and your skin is wet before the door swings shut behind you. It’s a hot that hangs in the air, letting you breathe it in, that is cured only by two things: being completely immersed in water or hiding indoors, the air conditioning cranked as far as it will go.I find that the heat makes me very unmotivated to do things like take a walk, water and weed the garden (though I have forced that one on myself) and prepare food and eat it. However, when the promise of cooking provides ice cold watermelon sorbet, I just may be convinced.
