Chocolate Marshmallow Cake Looking back it would seem that I simply loved this cake because there were mounds marshmallows on top. Every kid likes a mallow, right? But now as an adult I realize that’s exactly why I love it. Enjoy! I cup boiling water2 cups sugar1 3/4 cups flour3/4 cup cocoa powder2 tsp baking soda1 tsp baking powder1 tsp salt2 eggs1 cup buttermilk (or use 1 cup milk mixed with 1 Tbl vinegar)1/2 cup oil1 tsp vanillaChocolate Satin Frosting (see recipe below) 1. 1. Frozen Berries With Hot Chocolate & Kayotic Kitchen I couldn’t suppress a smile when a friend of mine raved about this ‘special’ dessert she had eaten during one of her recent trips to London. “Frozen fruit with warmed up cream?“, I smirked. She shrugged her shoulders, waved her hand and said that when she ordered it, she couldn’t believe something so easy could taste this fantastic either. I agreed with her. So here we are… Ingredients: 1 cup strawberries 1 cup raspberries 1 cup blueberries 5 tbsp heavy cream 3 oz white chocolate Optional: 1/8 tsp vanilla extract (I didn’t feel it needed it) Directions: It’s no rocket science, really. Clean the fruit. Put it in the freezer and leave it there for at least 4 to 5 hours. Combine the heavy cream with the chocolate and either melt it au bain marie, or use your microwave. Pour the hot chocolate sauce over the frozen berries and serve immediately. And let me tell you what: I can’t think of enough superlatives to describe this incredible dessert! The hot chocolate will soften the frozen fruit.

Nutella Caramel Hazelnut Brownies I thought we were a little overdue for another NUTELLA recipe! What about you? I have been wanting to try a Nutella brownie recipe for a bit now, but it couldn’t be just any brownie, it had to be an oooey gooey over the top slap your momma kinda brownie. And after much drooling ehem contemplation, I think I got it! I decided on a layered brownie. You can tell from looking at them, that this is no wimpy brownie.
