DESCUBRIENDO NUESTRO INTERIOR ESL Grammar www.EFLSensei.com ESL Grammar Activities are a great way for your students to use English while reinforcing correct grammar use. Jump to ESL Grammar Activities Students get bored when they are simply sitting and taking notes. Worksheets offer a bit more excitement, but fill-in-the-blank and cloze exercises don't allow for "real" communication. These activities help students feel more comfortable with using English in a "real" setting and actually communicate with each other using the target language. Handouts, Conversation Cards, and Game Boards are included with many of our activities. Recommendation: Put the grammar point on the board and pre-teach as necessary.

Learn English Free - Zozanga ESL - Easy Grammar - Exams The Pendulum - Spells and Charms A pendulum is great for obtaining information quickly, and it can be used to answer virtually any yes-or-no question. Typically, a pendulum consists of a small weight — a crystal or some other stone, for instance — hung from a chain or a piece of string. You hold the chain or string loosely, allowing the pendulum to dangle from it, while you ask your question. The pendulum responds by swinging in a certain direction. Different stones appeal to different people. Most of the time, if the answer to your question is “no,” the pendulum will swing from side to side. Once you establish the significance of different directions, it's time to pose your question. Your pendulum might swing in a circular motion. When you use a pendulum, you're doing a form of dowsing. Some pendulums are designed with chambers that can be “loaded” with particular substances to aid the dowser's search. It's a good idea to cleanse your pendulum before using it.

The powers of the mother of pearl Home » Miscellaneous Feng Shui Topics Oriental and Chinese cultures as well as many occidental ones follow traditions based on the belief that some precious stones have important symbolisms and powers. The mother of pearl is one of them, and it is often used for feng shui practitioners in order to attract a benefit towards a strategic house point or to improve a specific life area. Some stones are believed to have the power of attracting happiness or love to the life of whom carries them or keep them in their homes. The sound of Present Perfect - Listening activities for ESL students | Anna Edu Present Perfect is one of my favourite grammar points, because it presents the biggest challenge for my students and me. I always have to think of new ways to show how it works and how it is an always present part of oral and written speech. Once you’ve come to grips with the form and typical uses, it’s important to become aware of this tense when you hear it. It also can be quite difficult to understand present perfect in quick speech. 1.
