I Like Your Flaws

I Like Your Flaws
I like how you mispronounce words sometimes, how you fumble and stammer and stutter looking for the right ones to say and the right ways to say them. I appreciate that you find language challenging, because it is, because everything manmade is challenging. Including man, including you. When you sleep on your side, I like to map the constellations between your beauty marks freckles pimples, the minuscule mountains that sprinkle your back. I like the tufts of hair you forgot to shave and the way you smell when you haven’t showered in a while; I like the sleep left in your eyes. I like the way your skin dies in the middle of the night, how you die from embarrassment the next morning; how you writhe in the snake casing you’ve left behind. I enjoy seeing you insecure, vulnerable. The burns, the scars, the black and blues on your face body heart, I want to know their stories. Your flaws single you out, set you apart, make you different from the rest, and thank god.

But before you can begin this process of transformation you have to stop doing the things that have been holding you back. Here are some ideas to get you started:

Electronic Projects For Beginners I made a guide for those people who are still starting with their electronics hobby. How to Stop Mumbling and Speak Clearly: 13 steps User Reviewed Four Parts:Using better postureDealing with motivations for mumblingPracticing improving your claritySpeaking clearlyCommunity Q&A Mumbling is when you speak so low or skimp on enunciation to the extent that people don't understand what you're saying, and often ask you to repeat yourself. This can be an annoying habit, but chances are that you already know how to speak without mumbling. You have probably had a phone conversation when the connection was poor or spoken to somebody who was hard of hearing, and in these situations you probably spoke loudly and clearly without even thinking about it.

It Happened to Me: I Had An Emotional Affair Adventures in shady texting. Recently, someone asked me if I have ever cheated on anyone, and I felt a familiar storm of guilt begin to brew in the pit of my stomach. “Once,” I said. “Not physically.” Aerial Photos of Giant Google-Funded Solar Farm Caught in Green Energy Debate One big problem with renewable energy projects is that they have to go somewhere. They have to occupy a part of the very environment that their proponents are often trying to save. Photographer Jamey Stillings beautifully captures this tension in his images of the Ivanpah Solar Electric Generating System (ISEGS). Located in Southern California’s Mojave Desert, the plant aims to eventually be the largest solar thermal power plant in the world – making enough electricity to run 140,000 homes all by focusing the sun’s energy to create steam.

Don’t Blink! The Hazards of Confidence One test, called the leaderless group challenge, was conducted on an obstacle field. Eight candidates, strangers to one another, with all insignia of rank removed and only numbered tags to identify them, were instructed to lift a long log from the ground and haul it to a wall about six feet high. There, they were told that the entire group had to get to the other side of the wall without the log touching either the ground or the wall, and without anyone touching the wall. If any of these things happened, they were to acknowledge it and start again. A common solution was for several men to reach the other side by crawling along the log as the other men held it up at an angle, like a giant fishing rod. Then one man would climb onto another’s shoulder and tip the log to the far side.
