Jazzyraes ramblings. & The greatest irony of life is loving the right... - StumbleUpon The greatest irony of life is loving the right person at the wrong time, having the wrong person when the time is right and finding out you love someone after that person walks out from your life. Sometimes you think you’re already over a person but when you see them smile at you, you’ll suddenly realize that you’re just pretending to be over them just to ease the pain of knowing that they will never be yours again. For some, they think that letting go is one way of expressing how much you love the person. Most relationships tend to fail not because the absence of love; love is always present. It’s just that one was being loved too much and the other was being loved too little. As we all know, the heart is the center of the body, but it beats on the left.

A position sensitive midi drum pad The SynPad is a position sensitive midi drum pad that you can build yourself using simple materials and tools for around 50 UK pounds (depending on what materials you already have, and how many pads you want to make.) The pad can detect where you have hit it as well as how hard, so that the synth it is driving can change the sound continuously as you strike the pad in different places. The software I have written to make the sounds is currently linux based, but would not require much work to adapt to a windows or mac environment. The skills you need are basic wood and metal work (cutting and drilling), enough electronics knowledge to build a simple circuit from the schematic, and a moderate amount of experience with making music on the linux operating system.

SNF Drumming MIDI Glove using Arduino and light sensors Hey there! First of all cheers to my supportive lovely family: Betina, Edvins, Vera and Sérgio! I'm Bruno Ratnieks from Brazil and will describe a fun and easy way to build your own sound expression MIDI enabled glove without expending lot's of money on MIDI Interfaces or expensive sensors. Feel free to contact me directly by mail if you like it or have suggestions. Private feedback are welcome by e-mail: mailto:bruno@sniffer.net This project was inspired by other do it yourself projects using Piezo (buzzer) as input sensors but they are too big and need filtering for precise velocity reading. Make acoustic panels for your recording studio or home theater Acoustic treatments are often used to help improve the acoustics of a room by taming "flutter echoes," "room modes," and other problems which arise from a room's dimensions and construction. Although a variety of treatments are available for commercial use, they tend to be quite expensive. After some research both online and in print, we came across several sources for DIY acoustic treatments using rigid fiberglass panels and simple frames. These are often referred to as "bass traps," although the ones that we're focusing on have a fairly wide rage of absorption. While commercial versions are available for almost $100, we were able to make these panels for about $24 each. We can not take credit for this design, but have combined several people's ideas into a step-by-step guide.
