ComplexColorWheel Complex Color Wheels A part of a unit on Color Theory, students were challenged to create a color wheel in which their design, color mixing ability and craftsmanship were all important aspects of the piece. They could use only the primary colors (red, yellow and blue), along with white and black. They were required to include primary, secondary and tertiary colors, as well as tints. Most students opted to do some sort of radial design, using a protractor to divide a circle into 30- or 60-degree segments. Artoyz.fr What is Artoyz ? Born from the mutual passion of 4 friends from graphic arts and toy figures, Artoyz was created on 2003 after the discovery of a new art trend coming from Asia : the designer toy or urban vinyl. Artoyz.com was the first entity to be born on 2003. Ok designer toy sounds cool, but what do you offer concretely? Artoyz presents a large selection of figures from keychains to 70 inch figures, a whole range of products to start or complete your collection, or just decorate home or office. And of course, if you are into DIY, we offer you a large range of figures to practice your custom skills and a very complete collection of Posca pencils and markers to make your own creations. Who makes all these art toys? We run our own production label, Artoyz Originals, and we publish the creations of many artists. And you only offer figures from that graphic culture? Your universe can only be found on your website? And if I have a project can you help me to produce my own figure?

How to make your Art Project exciting: Inventive use of mediaamiria [blog] Sometimes even highly able Painting students feel stuck in a rut. If your IGCSE or A Level Art Coursework project feels stagnant, repetitive, or downright boring, you may benefit from increased experimentation with media, techniques and processes (the ideas listed below are also perfect for using in an A Level or GCSE Art sketchbook). While it is important to remember that art-making mediums should be used in a way that supports your ideas, there are times when a dash of unpredictability and thinking-outside-the-box can help. Time and time again I see students who paint or draw on white cartridge paper and nothing else. There is nothing wrong with cartridge paper. Juan Gris teacups: a mixed media painting upon a collage of coloured papers. Draw on coloured paper The first thing you can do is embrace papers of other colours. Dark colours can be great for drawing on with light mediums; mid-tone papers (those that are a ‘medium’ tone – not too dark and not too light) are also excellent.
