Homemade watercolour paints - easy recipe, great homemade kid's paints
Kids can make their own homemade watercolour paints with 5 common, kitchen ingredients! If your kids love simple science activities and art, then they’ll love making these homemade watercolour paints. The hooligans love to paint so we do a lot of painting here in my daycare. Actually, I’ve never met a toddler or preschooler who doesn’t love to paint. There’s something just so lovely about dipping your brush into a fresh pallet of colour, and making big, bold, colourful strokes on a piece of paper. We use all kinds of paint here in my daycare – acrylics, finger paint, chalk paint, tempra paint, liquid watercolours, and solid watercolours. Now, I don’t know about your kids, but the hooligans can blow through a tray of those store-bought watercolours in a matter of minutes. Well, I’ve found an awesome, inexpensive solution to that problem. I make trays of homemade watercolour paints for my daycare hooligans. So! It’s easy! The photos that you see in this post are of a double batch. Ingredients

This is also the week when my oldest heads off to Amsterdam, where he’ll attend a new (very small) university. After a year at a very large university in Boston, he decided theater-style lecture halls packed with hundreds of students weren’t for him. Just as I did when he went off to college the first time, I find myself trying to conjure up memories of my son’s first steps, first words, how hard he laughed that time I fell out of the kayak, how he played the “Toy Story” soundtrack incessantly on the piano to unwind, and how he alone never failed to ask me about my day when I walked in the door from work.

Tooth decay - what to do without a dentist - how to harden a cavity - temporary fillings Here now a list of suggestions how to tackle the repair of one's own teeth in case you prefer (or have to) try doing without dental emergency treatment and/or "proper" dental work, i.e. aim beyond just lessening or temporarily numbing the pain before rushing to the next available dentist. (For those just wishing to temporarily deal with a hole, simply skip to Temporary fixes.) Apparently, both dietary and "energetic" measures and approaches have allowed people to fix cavities without a dentist and to get rid of caries without fillings. Following any of these suggestions is of course done at your own risk since I can and will only take responsibility for my own body and health, and comes with no guarantee, see Disclaimer. Step 1: Get rid of the toothache, naturally
