Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings Recipe - Recipes Steamy Kitchen
Monday, January 4, 2010 This recipe for Baked Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings is a must-try. If I could, I’d duct tape it front and center on my favorite recipes list. These, along with Momofuku’s Chicken Wings make me a very happy girl. Forget Buffalo wings, forget even the Hooters wings (I just heard my husband gasp). But wait. How Long to Cook a Lamb Steak? Much like beef steak, lamb won't take very long to cook when placed in a lightly oiled pan and fried over medium heat. Heat the oil and add garlic if you like. Place the steak into the pan and fry on either side for five to eight minutes depending on the thickness of the steak. Turn the meat and fry for another three to five minutes and then check the temperature with a meat thermometer. If you like a very tender steak, sear the meat first by heating the skillet to a high heat and placing the meat in the pan for just under a minute on either side.

Pumpkin Spice Latte Every year around this time the world seems to go crazy for Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes Photo Source The Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Lattes are lovely… But you can make them at home And I’d like to think my make-at-home version wins Why? Because you can make them vegan at home, if you so choose. And the ones you purchase are generally made with fake, sugary, pumpkin-flavored syrups, not real pumpkin puree. It should be noted that this is a natural latte, made with real pumpkin puree and real pumpkin pie spice. Since some people enjoy a daily dose of HFCS, you make lattes at home and can control what goes into your latte. Another reason the at-home version wins is because you could go into the poorhouse if you like your coffee as much as I like mine buying these specialty drinks. I bet the cost per cup of the homemade latte is less than a quarter and probably even less. Far less than the $4 coffee shop lattes and the cheapskate in me wants to make things at home whenever possible. A Visual Guide Save

Cheddar Bacon Ranch Pulls A few weeks ago I shared my recipe for Cinnamon Roll Pulls, a sweet pull apart bread. In the post I mentioned a savory cheesy version. Also, I love to see everyone excited and sharing on their blogs and social media when they use my recipes, but please be sure to link back to me and do not publish the entire recipe! Thanks! Like I mentioned in my post the other week, the last time I did a big cooking day, I had a big ah-ha moment. Although, I had a blast with Lauren, it was logistically very difficult to accomplish. So this latest big cooking day, I did it by myself and only did slow cooker recipes. Basically, all I was did was chop vegetables and assemble ingredients. Even with doing it this way, it was still a 3 hour affair, but during this time I was able to finish all the cooking AND the cleaning. I chopped all the vegetables with Penelope in her Learning Tower before nap, which was really fun. I just dumped the veggies into the gallon sized ziploc bags, then added the meat, then added the spices.
