Gendering Cyberspaces Digital cultures have the potential to shake up ideas about gender. As feminist cultural theorist Donna Haraway argued at the dawn of the digital era, the human-computer interface can serve to break down assumptions about naturalized female and male roles and identities. There is much cybercultural activity that does this, and some of that work is cited below. On the other side of things, digital media, and perhaps most egregiously, some video games, seem to have set back gender representations decades. And, as is the case with race and sexuality, the anonymity of cyberspaces has often unleashed new levels of sexist discourse, cyber sexual harassment and other problems. SlideBoom - upload and share rich powerpoint presentations online Vida virtual: a necessidade de existir? As duas identidades nunca estiveram tão juntas.

Love Language: The 5 Love Languages of Children iMOM » Tweens » Relationships » Child » Love Language: The 5 Love Languages of Children Storybooks and television tell our children that love is a mushy, wonderful thing that’s all butterflies and romance and rainbows. But as adults, we know that loving others—whether a spouse, a family member, a friend or simply your neighbor—is more often an exercise in self-sacrifice and putting others first. Butterflies are optional. Dr. 1. For children who understand this love language, physical touch will communicate love more deeply than will the words, "I love you," or giving a present, fixing a bicycle, or spending time with them. 2. 3. If quality time is your child's primary love language, you can be sure of this: Without a sufficient supply of quality time and focused attention, your child will experience a gnawing uneasiness that his parents do not really love him. 4. Most children respond positively to gifts, but for some, receiving gifts is their primary love language. 5. by Dr.
