The Egg-Bot Kit We have mentioned Eggbot several times this year as we demonstrated it at Maker Faires in San Mateo and Detroit, as well as at the California state fair. Image of the Day: Aquarium Phonebooth - Food - GOOD - StumbleUpon Lighting designer Benoit Deseille and artist Benedetto Bufalino transformed this phone booth in Lyon, France, into an aquarium, as part of the city's annual Festival of Light. In an accompanying statement, the artists explain the inspiration behind the piece: With the advent of the mobile telephone, telephone booths lie unused. We rediscover this glass cage transformed into an aquarium, full of exotically colored fish; an invitation to escape and travel. It's a creative way to transform disused infrastructure into an everyday source of wonder and beauty—or, if you're of a more pessimistic frame of mind, a vision of our climate-changed future. On top of that, there's something whimsically compelling about seeing tropical fish interacting with a phone: cross-species communication, anyone?

Hence, It may be pleasing, harmless, or even useful. A hallucination however is a completely groundless, false conception, belief, or opinion, caused by a disordered imagination; it is particularly frequent today in the pathological sense, according to which it denotes hearing or seeing something that does not exist. So it is sometimes difficult to define whether art is creating an illusion or a hallucination in your mind when it is viewed.

Using shadows to create a street art & This Blog Rules Instead of drawing graffiti on the walls, a NYC street artist Michael Neff has decided to use the shadows that lamp posts make to create street art. Neff is only using chalk and stone sediment to outline the shadows into stencils looking like figures or just simple art. This kind of street art is very neat and impressive to come across in the late hours. See more of Neff’s work here.

A package allows you to combine your branding elements, such as a logo, with other creative concepts in order to not only sell your product, but enhance a branding image and gain publicity. Some package designs are utter failures, because they don’t grab your attention, and they’re incredibly difficult to open. Many designers work for long periods of time to come up with a creative package design, because their career hinges on it.
