Xplane10's Blog We have had a lot of good scenery lately and that continues on here, In this case a big portion of what we are going to look at here and it is all set around in this certain area – Anglesey in North Wales. EGOV RAF Valley – rcmarple : EGOV RAF Valley rcmarple has given us a very good set of files that fill in this area in an excellent way, I reviewed RAF Mona Airfield RAF Mona only a few weeks ago but a big part of the jigsaw was missing and here to today we have that big piece – RAF Valley. RAF Valley is a Royal Air Force station on the island of Anglesey, Wales. It must surely be one of the busiest RAF stations as it’s home to the following squadrons: 208 Sqn – Advanced flying training in Hawks 19 Sqn – Tactics and weapons training in Hawks 22 Sqn – Search & Rescue with Sea Kings Defence Helicopter Flying School – Search & Rescue Training Unit (SARTU) using Griffin and Squirrel helicopters RAF Valley approach. The OSM here is excellent and RAF Valley fits in very nicely. rcmarple comments,
