Daisy Puffagon Tutorial

Daisy Puffagon Tutorial
Any yarn you wish to use. I’d recommend using one hook size down from the recommend hook size for your yarn. This pattern is written in UK terms. American terms are given below in bold. WRITTEN PATTERN: Abbreviated instructions can be found at the end of the tutorial. I'm quite pleased with how 'seamless' I managed to make these look. I like to start of these little puffs with a magic loop. So, assuming we've now all got a magic loop, let's begin. First of all, make 1 chain and then make 6 double crochets (dc) into the loop. Once that's done we need to close up the circle. So take the waste end of the yarn (not the one still attached to your yarn ball) and pull it up until the stitches form a circle. It should look like this (left pic). Cut your yarn and using your hook, pull the end of the yarn until the end comes through the stitch. Now we're going to just pull the end of the yarn through that first dc of the round. So now it should look like this. Now make 1 chain. Then make 1 more chain. Related:  HANDARBETE OCH HOBBY

pelote de fil avec t shirt Reader Blair liked our t-shirt yarn dishcloths, but had a major question about t-shirt yarn: "So I don’t know how when one piece of yarn ends, to begin again with a new one… Does that make sense? Someone please email me.and tell me!" Well, Blair, I'll do you one better and write a whole post about it! How do you turn t-shirts into yarn, and then attach the ends? Read on! There are a few common methods for making t-shirt yarn. This seems to be the most common method for cutting a t-shirt into yarn, and it also seems the most time-economical. When you get to the end of one piece of yarn you can attach it like this: 1. Amanda's Happy Hearth shows how you can attach yarn ends simply by stitching through the ends of the t-shirts. 2. Another way to attach ends is by just tying the ends together in a square knot (if you don’t mind the nubs in your finished project), or just twist them together when you are crocheting or knitting to create a more seamless join. 3. 1. 2. 3. 4.
