The moderators will post questions during the #AER Twitter chat. What will the participants do? The participants will reply to the tweets sent by moderators and other participants. What is the topic of the #AER Twitter chat? The topic is the use of Augmented Reality in education and in eTwinning projects and in this chat we will wrap up the whole learning event that took place from October 4-13, 2014. What is a Twitter chat anyway? A Twitter chat is a discussion that takes place … on Twitter. What is a hashtag #? About - FCL The 1:1 computing paradigm is rapidly changing, particularly given the speed with which tablets from different vendors are entering the consumer market and beginning to impact on the classroom. Over the next 2-3 years policy makers will face some difficult choices: How to invest most efficiently in national 1:1 computing programmes? What advice to give to schools that are integrating tablets? To address these challenges, the Creative Classrooms Lab project will carry out a series of policy experimentations to collect evidence on the implementation, impact and up-scaling of 1:1 pedagogical approaches using tablets. This evidence will enable policy makers to take more informed decisions. The project is coordinated by European Schoolnet, a unique network of 30 Ministries of Education in Europe and funded by the European Commission’s Lifelong Learning Programme. In addition, a number of leading ICT vendors have expressed an interest in being involved in the project as Associate Partners.
