ShabbyPrincess :: Free Scrapbooking Kits, Digital Scrapbooking, thegoodlife Well Hello Friends!! In case you were wondering where I've been for the past month or so, I thought I should pop in and tell you that I had a baby. And not just had a baby, but a nearly 11lb baby! At 5:49pm on November 2nd, Bodie Fletcher Pebbles was pulled from my uterus (feet first!) (Photo Card design by Minted.com) Do you want to hear all the gory details? First: Did you know that I was on bed rest for about the last two weeks before my due date? (Little Red Riding Hood, The Woodsman, The Big Bad Wolf and Grandma in her belly.) I really, really wanted to dress up my belly for Halloween, for some dumb reason. The day after Halloween, I went to my weekly appointment, now technically a couple days overdue. Isn't that cute... I ran some errands, bought some lamps at Target, gave myself a couple hours away from the purgatory of my sofa to try to get some things done. I started having contractions at 11pm. Around 11:30pm, I started barking orders at John and speed nesting. Only.... First try?

Digital scrapbooking tutorials, reviews, and resources » Blog Ar I (Katie) have been a digital scrapbooker for almost 5 years now and I quickly learned once I started collecting supplies on my computer that I would need to have a good organization system in place. I tried several different methods before I settled on a folder based approach back in 2007. I love the system that I use, but I also realize that there are many other ways to effectively organize digital scrapbook supplies so I thought it would be fun to show you 3 different ways to organize so you can find the approach that works best for you! I'm a very visual person, so for me it is nice to have folders set up with preview images. My system is probably most useful for the digital scrapbooker that has a BIG collection of supplies from a wide variety of sources. click to enlarge Here's a list of my folder categories: The numbers in front of each file are to keep them in a certain order since windows likes to organize the folders in numerical and alphabetical order automatically. P.S.

Drømmefabrikken Blog Archive » Font Organization We love our fonts as much as we love our scrapbooking goodies, but did you know that each time you install a font, it takes resources away from other parts of your machine? Each system comes with a set of basic fonts installed on it, but too many fonts above those, will cause some slow-down. Sometimes, it is very noticeable, but sometimes it's just the time it takes to start up your machine after a shutdown, or maybe Photoshop taking a long time to load because it has to read through all of those fonts and load them (as does every program that uses fonts). A great solution for this problem is a font management program. A font management program allows you to leave your fonts uninstalled, but be able see a preview of them as well as easily install and uninstall them when you want to use them, with just one mouse click. By having less fonts installed at any given time, your machine will run more smoothly. Here is a screenshot of my font manager to give you an idea of what it looks like:

Home : The Lilypad A Beautiful Mess I love using cloth napkins to dress up our dinner table, and through the years I've grown even more fond of their sustainability and cost effectiveness. Though, I'm not sure how cost effective it is if you keep buying more and more cloth napkins each year! This holiday season I thought it would be fun to look at how I could dress up the napkins I already own to give them an extra festive vibe. Check out three simple ways you can give new life to your table linens. And hey! Ribbon Trimmed Napkin This look is so (no sew) simple!
