Zola- Bulky Stacked Shell Shrug/ Cowl- free crochet pattern
ZolaBulky Stacked Shell Cowl and Shrug This bulky cowl is super simple to make. Its front post triple crochet and stacked 3dc shells give it a much more intricate look than the pattern really is. I love the versatility in this pattern. It can be worn as a regular cowl, a hooded cowl or even as a shrug. Another thing I love about this cowl is that it is made with regular worsted weight material, so its not heavy like it would be if it were made with a bulky weight yarn. I hope you enjoy making and wearing this easy but beautiful bulky cowl Finished Dimensions: My finished cowl measures 19″x19″ which will fit someone with a shoulder diameter (measure completely around the shoulders) of 35-40″. Washing Instructions: Machine wash cool/warm Tumble dry- low heat. Cost of Materials: $6.50-$8.00 Time Involved: Approx 4.5-5 hours at approx 10 mins per row Recommended Retail Price: $50-60 Notes: The fptc rounds in this pattern are 100sts.

Granny Stripe Headband/Earwarmer I had to stop in the middle of working my Granny Stripe Boutique Bag the other day and when I set it down realized it would make a perfect headband/earwarmer. I used a smaller hook size so the shells would be closer together. I think it turned out perfectly! I love how these look all stacked together. This pattern is written for children 6-12. You can increase or decrease the size of this by adding or subtracting by 3's to the initial chain. This is my beautiful daughter Isabel modeling. MATERIALS LIST: Worsted Weight Yarn (I used Impeccable found at Michaels.) STITCH COMBINATIONS: Shell is "work 3 dc in same st or sp." TIPS: Join all rounds. Starting out: Ch 67. Finish off. You can attach any flower you like.

One Dog Woof: Crochet Beaded Friendship Bracelet I have gotten a few requests to put up a pattern for the crocheted beaded friendship bracelets I posted about a while back. I wasn’t sure about the implications of posting something that I figured out from staring at Etsy photos, but after some thought, I don’t think that’s too different than staring at Pinterest photos and doing your own spin on things. Plus, being vague about the general concept of the bracelet didn’t seem to work, so I’m over the guilt, but I’ll let you know if the patent police come after me. For an intro on this project, check out my previous post.
