Typically we’d be moping around, wishing we were curled up on our sofas watching retro murder mystery shows on repeat – but today we’ve got something to be cheerful about! Bright and happy neon colours are on the top of Pom Pom’s current “favourite things” list, and luckily our pals at MillaMia have waved their magic wands and made them appear in yarn form! Lime and Cobalt are their first ever Limited Edition colours and boy do they pack a punch! We wanted to show off the Lime (we’re suckers for a “grellow”) and also throw in one of their new permanent colours, Berry.
Sprite Bangles! I've got a fun project today that uses strips from 2 liter bottles to make super awesome bangle bracelets. Everyone needs another yarn holder!). Sprite Bangles Supplies needed: 3/4" strips cut from a Sprite (or any other) 2 liter bottle - cut around the bottle, not top to bottom.Small amount of size 3 crochet thread (I used Aunt Lydia's Fashion Crochet Cotton) Size D hook Yarn needle Scissors Use your scissors to make sure that your strip of plastic has smooth edges.

Itty bitty crochet heart tutorial Here is a super-easy, super-fast project that is ideal for last-minute Valentines. I'm making a whole bunch of these this afternoon while waiting at the doctor's office. I'm making them out of different shades of leftover yarn to add to barrettes for Annalivia's female preschool classmates. If I get really organized, I'll show you what I'm planning for the little boys tomorrow. Leg Warmers Super cute legwarmers with shell edging detail! These are so fun to wear and they are WARM! Ha ha! The weather has been a little kooky lately. Just 2 weeks ago we were running the A/C and then one morning we just woke up and needed the heater on! No in-between (otherwise known as "autumn" or "fall"), straight from hot to cold.
how to crochet a daisy chain necklace My mum described this thing she had seen on someone else, part necklace, part scarf, like a bunch of flowers for your neck and I was really taken with this idea of floral jewels. So after a bit of experimentation I came up with this design. It is simple to make with basic crochet stitches, and could have endless variations both in terms of the yarns and flower styles used to make it but also in the way it is worn.
Over The Apple Tree: Fall and Winter Crochet I'm so excited to be getting ready for fall in my Etsy shop! I have a collection of Outlander inspired fingerless gloves posted already and still have more items done and ready to be posted. Usually when I work on new items, my friends and family get a look at them and they want some too! My daughter was desperate to have some fingerless gloves. She picked out this fun rainbow yarn and I went in search of a cute kid's pattern.
