The documents – which consist of dozens of computer files – emerge just weeks ahead of presidential elections on 1 July, and coincide with the appearance of an energetic protest movement accusing the Televisa network of manipulating its coverage to favour the leading candidate, Enrique Peña Nieto. The documents, which appear to have been created several years ago, include: • An outline of fees apparently charged for raising Peña Nieto's national profile when he was governor of the state of Mexico. • A detailed media strategy explicitly designed to torpedo a previous presidential bid by leftwing candidate Andres Manuel López Obrador, who is currently Peña Nieto's closest rival.

When students feel nervous, their capacity to think clearly and solve problems accurately is reduced, says Sian Beilock, a cognitive scientist at the University of Chicago. While one might imagine writing about a looming exam would only heighten students’ anxiety, Beilock says the opposite was the case. Apprehension over tests can be especially common among minority and female students. Video Games Built Just for Girls Digital Tools School 26 The stereotypical video game player is a young male under age 18, but study after study has shown that majority of the game-playing population does not fall into that demographic. Only 18% of gamers are under age 18, and women over 18 represent a significantly greater proportion of this population (37%) than do boys age 17 or younger (13%). With the explosive growth in social gaming, particularly on Facebook, more games are being targeted at women. But what about girls? There isn’t swordplay here. That girl-gamer audience is the focus of the Vancouver, B.C. The School 26 games are geared towards tweens and teens, and the storyline is built around the very complicated social hierarchy of high school. So the player of School 26 must help the character do just that: build friendships and navigate the sticky, awkward and sometimes awful moral dilemmas of school.
