Hormis le D80, sa nouvelle plateforme d’amplification, d&b présentait pour la première fois à Prolight + Sound, la nouvelle série de colonnes de diffusion xC destinée à l’intégration dans des lieux à l’acoustique difficile et où les critères esthétiques sont primordiaux :salles de conférence, mairies, théâtres, salles parlementaires … Constituée de trois modèles, 16C, 24C et 24C-E (pour Extended), ces colonnes de moins de 125 mm de largeur existent en finition blanche ou noire avec une ébénisterie réalisée en aluminium extrudé. Le modèle 16C intègre 4 transducteurs néodyme 4’’ large bande.Et le modèle 24 C, six de ces mêmes transducteurs accompagnés de six tweeters à dôme de 1,1’’ montés sur guide.L’extension 24C-E comprend six 4’’ supplémentaires pour prolonger une ligne verticale 24C et descendre d’une octave la tenue de la directivité verticale (de 350 à 190 Hz environ).
GEO S1230 - Nexo The compact, 2-way GEO S1230 is a scalable loudspeaker module that displays exceptional MF-LF output (103dBSPL nominal sensitivity -1W @1m) from a single12” loudspeaker and NEXO’s proprietary Directivity Phase Device (DPD). A narrow-Q (30°) device in single-source mode, S1230’s unique Hyperboloid Reflective Wavesource (HRW) allows coupled S1210/1230s to radiate as coherent, wavefronts, yeilding precise pattern control in vertical or horizontal arrays. S12 arrays display traditional "tight-pack" pattern control in the non-coupled plane. Coupled MF/HF pattern control is array-dependent, as designed by GEOSoft2 array software.
