Gear, plain and simple. As part of the upcoming stat-system revamp, we plan to introduce a new tool that will let World of Warcraft players know exactly where they stand in comparison to other players: the Equipment Potency EquivalencE Number. With this new system, you’ll no longer have to wonder about your perceived or actual worth as a player. Your Equipment Potency EquivalencE Number, automatically derived from the quality of the gear you currently possess, will be placed on your character sheet and in the Armory, and also displayed over your character’s head in-game as an easy-to-read bar-like object that steadily grows as you acquire loot. How Your Number Is Determined Here's how it will work: With every new piece of gear you obtain, your number will grow; if you attain a high enough number, you'll graduate to the next tier (more on that below) and gain access to exclusive rewards.
American Academy of Craniofacial Pain : Home Page Common Cancer Types This list of common cancer types includes cancers that are diagnosed with the greatest frequency in the United States, excluding nonmelanoma skin cancers: Cancer incidence and mortality statistics reported by the American Cancer Society1 and other resources were used to create the list. To qualify as a common cancer for the list, the estimated annual incidence for 2016 had to be 40,000 cases or more. The most common type of cancer on the list is breast cancer, with more than 249,000 new cases expected in the United States in 2016. Because colon and rectal cancers are often referred to as "colorectal cancers," these two cancer types are combined for the list. The following table gives the estimated numbers of new cases and deaths for each common cancer type: References American Cancer Society: Cancer Facts and Figures 2016.
D&D on multi-touch table Students at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) developed a Dungeons & Dragons experience for the Microsoft Surface multi-touch table. From ETC: The objective of the SurfaceScapes project is to create a proof-of-concept for playing tabletop role-playing games on the Microsoft Surface Table. We will be using Dungeons and Dragons as a basis for our prototype, with the option for future expansion to other role-playing games. SurfaceScapes will provide Game Masters and players with a set of features to enhance the combat and role-playing aspects of tabletop games. This will include the ability to interact with the digital environment using real objects such as miniatures and provide automated calculations and visual and audio feedback for actions performed by the player and non-player characters. SurfaceScapes... what lies beneath.
American Pain Foundation Spina Bifida Association - Spina Bifida Association Apocalypse in the horror genre - Clarksburg Horror movie In today’s horror movies there are many recurring themes, but some would argue that one of the most popular is apocalypse. Through time this scenario has inspired and frightened the masses with pictures like The Last Man on Earth and The Day the Earth Stood Still, both of which have been remade in recent years. However, the question remains, why does the theme of apocalypse amaze and grip us? David Frame, 28, a Clarksburg resident said “I enjoy them because they bring in more ideas and elements than just biblical destruction. I like movies about the apocalypse much more when it can’t be stopped. I enjoy seeing a scenario where it can’t be prevented. Chuck Groah, 21, a Weston resident, has an opinion that differs slightly. Top five apocalyptic scenarios (in no particular order) Plague: The thought of a super virus decimating the human race is just plain freaky. War: War is always a terrifying theme. Natural Disaster: Of course natural catastrophe can't be left out of this fold.
