While teachers grasp the value of such documentation theoretically, it is most challenging but exciting to use in practical settings. Documentation illuminates teacher theories about children’s understanding: watching such theories change through study of documentation and further teacher research profoundly influences professional development.

You can use this process in writing your lesson plans and in improving teaching and learning.
EMERGENT CURRICULUM: WHAT DOES IT MEAN? « "FLIGHTS OF WHIMSY" In reality, many educators profess to use an ‘emergent curriculum’ approach in their work with children, but what happens in their preschool environment can seem to be at odds with the philosophy that underpins an emergent curriculum approach. The World Digital Library, a cooperative project with UNESCO, includes rare documents from around the world. 2.) Pathway Central: mTOR Pathway mTOR (Mammalian Target of Rapamycin) is a 289-kDa serine/threonine protein kinase and a member of the PIKK (Phosphatidylinositol 3-Kinase-related Kinase) family. The protein consists of a Catalytic Kinase domain, an FRB (FKBP12-Rapamycin Binding) domain, a putative Auto-inhibitory domain (Repressor domain) near the C-terminus and up to 20 tandemly repeated HEAT motifs at the Amino terminus, as well as FAT (FRAP-ATM-TRRAP) and FATC (FAT C-terminus) domains. The C-terminus of TOR is highly homologous to the catalytic domain of PI3K (Phosphatidylinositol 3-Kinase). TOR proteins are evolutionarily conserved from yeast to human in the C-domain, with human, mouse, and rat mTOR proteins sharing 95% identity at the amino acid level. The human mTOR gene encodes a protein of 2549 amino acids with 42% and 45% sequence identity to yeast TOR1 and TOR2, respectively. mTOR functions as a central element in a signaling pathway involved in the control of cell growth and proliferation (Ref.1).
