Recycled Water Bottle Flower A wonderful way to recycle, help Earth and make your yard look beautiful! Easy crochet bow tutorial/pattern First things first...I am no crocheting expert. Far from it! I'm definitely a beginner, so if I can make these little bows, so can you. Anywho, you can tell I had fun taking pictures of my line up of bows...this is only a fraction of the pile I've made so far! Alright, here goes! See below for the full tutorial! Bow: Chain 25, half double crochet in third chain from hook, and in each chain across. Start with some yarn...duh. and a crochet hook. This is how you do a slipknot-which starts every crochet project. Now start your chain! Like so! Continue making a chain-I did 25 for this size bow...you could easily make the bow larger or smaller by lengthening or shortening the chain. At the end of the chain, yarn over (YO) and then do a half double crochet in the third loop from the end. So the arrow is pointing to the loop to go through. It will look like this! YO again and pull through all three loops! I pull the yarn snug after each stitch. Then keep doing HDCs going down the chain you made!
Bits & Bobbles : Easy Crocheted Snood Pattern While walking round poundstretcher for our weekly wool top up, we came across this amazing wool which neither of us had seen or heard of before called Rozetti Fireside :) Its this a lovely soft super chunky wool and it comes in a great mix of colours. Both my mum and I bought 2 200g balls of a different colour and set to work on creating some simple patterns to compliment the wool, this is what she came up with: The whole project took roughly 5-6 hours so could easily be achieved within a day. If you cant get the same wool that we did, that's fine :) just use any super chunky wool and it will turn out the same! Easy Crocheted Snood Pattern With a 6.5mm hook, Ch 91 Row 1: Hdc into second ch from hook and into every ch to the end of the row (90) Row 2-38: Ch 1, turn, Hdc into every ch to the end of the row (90) Bring the two ends of the snood together and line the edges up, Sl st down the width of the snood to join the two ends together, Finish off and weave in ends with a tapestry needle.

You won’t want to miss a day of these fun crafts for kids from some amazing bloggers! Please be sure to pay them a visit! Lolli from Better in Bulk writes……. One of my kids’ favorite things to do (Summer-time or otherwise) is to crochet long chains. I love this simple headband because it’s something that my kids and I can make together. Even a beginner crocheter can make this headband, but helps to have a basic crochet background. ch = chain sc = single crochet dc = double crochet sl st = slip stitch Quick and Easy Flower Headbands Supplies: Size G crochet hook (using a smaller or larger hook will simply make a tighter or looser stitch)Small amount of yarn (I used a medium, 4-ply cotton Sugar ‘n Cream yarn in Robin’s Egg blue)ScissorsButtonEmbroidery needle Round 1: Leave a long tail before you begin your chain. Round 2: Ch 2, 2 dc in next sc, ch 2, sl st in next sc (forms one petal).
Learn How to #Crochet for Beginner's - with Moogly Videos! Odds are, if you follow Moogly, you already know how to crochet. But every so often I get an email or message asking me where a newbie can go to learn how to crochet, starting with the basics. While learning in person is great, not everyone has access to a class or crochet buddy. And books with their 2D drawings can be hard to follow if you don’t already know how to get started! So today I’ve done something about that! Below you’ll find several Moogly video tutorials, with short descriptions for each. I’d recommend starting with a DK, worsted, or aran weight yarn (yarn symbol 3 or 4) in a light color. Slip Knot The slip knot is how you’ll begin the majority of your yarny projects. Chain Stitch – abbreviated in patterns as “ch” Chaining is the most basic skill in crochet. Single Crochet – Abbreviated in patterns as “sc” In UK patterns, this is called a double crochet, and abbreviated “dc”. Slip Stitch – abbreviated in patterns as “sl st” Half Double Crochet – abbreviated in patterns as hdc
4. Blanc ou coloré ?
