Прошло чуть больше года с момента завершения конкурса проектов «Школа будущего вместе с Intel-2012», по итогам которого 5 школ России, в т.ч. и мы, получили возможность существенно улучшить свою IT-инфраструктуру благодаря призам от спонсоров - мощному серверу и солидному набору лицензионного программного обеспечения. Конкурс показал, что степень оснащенности российских школ все еще достаточно не однородна, как и понимание того, зачем школе вообще нужны серверы. В отношении своего образовательного учреждения (Гимназия №6 г. Лангепас, ХМАО-Югра) могу сказать, что с 2005 года школьная IT-инфраструктура базируется на использовании серверов. Созданная на ее основе ИОС, применяемые сетевые технологии и сервисы были бы просто немыслимы без их использования! К 2001 году гимназия имела внушительный по тем временам, а также на фоне других 5 школ города парк, состоящий примерно из 50 компьютеров. Опыт построения ИОС, интеграция педагогических и ИК технологий признан сообществом как положительный.
