Amanita Design YuGiOh TCG Article - After Starstrike: Rock Stun by Jason Grabher-Meyer Jason Grabher-Meyer 1/4/2011 10:42:00 AM Comments Towards the end of last year, my creative vigor was renewed with the release of StarstrikeBlast. I talked about several new, competitive decks I'd put together, covering my favorite of the new crop of strategies. But one deck that I didn't get around to discussing happens to be one that isn't seeing much discussion anywhere – and even less play in tournaments. The quiet advent of the new Rock Stun deck has gone largely ignored by most Duelists, who've instead favored Gravekeepers, Plant Synchro, and other strategies that (ironically) have a very tough time against this deck. You have to wonder: why is that? And therein lies the rub: the Rock Stun Duelist received a new card in StarstrikeBlast that fixes its biggest problems and really brings the strategy home, leading to never-before-seen power levels for decks like the following: Koa'ki Meiru Wall was an absolute game-changer. And it's a Rock! -Never open with Grand Mole. See you then!

Ranked: Disney Princesses From Least To Most Feminist It's hard to be liberated in a clamshell bikini. I just saw Brave, and it got me thinking about the grand tradition of Disney princesses. Brave is a Pixar movie, and its heroine, Merida, is a fairy-tale feminist. Disney princesses for the most part, are not. Now, I know ranking anything by perceived feminism is problematic, as your professor might put it, but go with me for the sake of discussion. 10. The early Disney films were all strange fables with beautiful scenery and women who made no choices for themselves; Sleeping Beauty is the apex of these. 9. Yeah, about all that sleeping… well, Snow White also conveniently falls asleep for much of this film, and waits to be rescued by a Charming (but otherwise featureless) prince. 8. Cinderella can't catch a break. 7. In my humble opinion, The Little Mermaid is the best Disney movie, but Ariel is shaky as a feminist icon. 6. 5. I've dressed up as Jasmine for Halloween twice, so I'm a little biased. 4. 3. 2. 1.

Facebook YuGiOh TCG Article - Exploring Relinquished in the New Format by anonymous anonymous 9/6/2011 8:50:00 AM Comments Welcome back everyone. This is my first article of the format and I'm definitely looking forward to this one. It's a lot easier to give the decklist first, then move onto the explanation. Monsters: 22 3 Relinquished 3 Effect Veiler 3 Tour Guide From the Underworld 3 Spirit Reaper 2 Manju of the Ten Thousand Hands 2 Thunder King Rai-Oh 2 Djinn Releaser of Rituals 1 Sangan 1 Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning 1 Gorz the Emissary of Darkness 1 Chaos Sorcerer Spells: 10 2 Mystical Space Typhoon 2 Preparation of Rites 2 Pot of Duality 1 Allure of Darkness 1 Black Illusion Ritual 1 Monster Reborn 1 Heavy Storm Traps: 8 2 Call Of The Haunted 2 Solemn Warning 1 Solemn Judgment 1 Trap Dustshoot 1 Torrential Tribute 1 Starlight Road *(Secret Side Deck) 3 Gravity Bind 12 other cards that don't amount to the awesomeness of 3 Gravity Bind. I think this is the best deck for Tour Guide, because it actually has targets besides Sangan.

Welcome to ImageBank YuGiOh TCG Article - Double Deck Development: Ice Barriers And Worms by Jason Grabher-Meyer Jason Grabher-Meyer 12/23/2010 9:42:00 AM Comments When Starstrike Blast hit, it really brought a lot of changes to my gauntlet of competitive decks. I spent several weeks showing you new, high-competition builds of stuff like Scraps and Gravekeepers, the latter of which has become my current tournament deck. Now that the holiday season is in full swing and “serious business” competition is a little further from my mind, I want to take some time to make a few decks for casual and light-competition play. Note that these decks are not built to fail – care has been given to ensure that the best version of each deck is being presented. Let's get started with a deck that I've been waiting to play for ages: Ice Barriers! Spells: 15 3 Magic Triangle of the Ice Barrier 3 Medallion of the Ice Barrier 3 Trade-In 3 Book of Moon 1 Monster Reborn 1 Dark Hole 1 Giant Trunade To me, the Ice Barrier theme has one big thing going for it: Magic Triangle. NEXt up, Worms! Worms – Tentacles Everywhere!!

Discover the world's most endangered species Wildscreen's Arkive project was launched in 2003 and grew to become the world's biggest encyclopaedia of life on Earth. With the help of over 7,000 of the world’s best wildlife filmmakers and photographers, conservationists and scientists, Arkive.org featured multi-media fact-files for more than 16,000 endangered species. Freely accessible to everyone, over half a million people every month, from over 200 countries, used Arkive to learn and discover the wonders of the natural world. Since 2013 Wildscreen was unable to raise sufficient funds from trusts, foundations, corporates and individual donors to support the year-round costs of keeping Arkive online. As a small conservation charity, Wildscreen eventually reached the point where it could no longer financially sustain the ongoing costs of keeping Arkive free and online or invest in its much needed development. Therefore, a very hard decision was made to take the www.arkive.org website offline in February 2019.
