His diagnosis changed my circumstances overnight but it also freed me from my material life... Before cancer I defined myself by the possessions I had accumulated and the safe little world I had created! Change came with Cody's illness and I am such a better person for it. Living in a small, safe bubble is not really, truly, deeply living! Cody battled for two years and he taught so many people about courage, love and heart! I paint the reflection of my story...
