Pour réaliser la grande suspension, il vous faut: - 4 morceaux de trapilho d'environs 2 m et des ciseaux - un peu de concentration pour ne pas emmêler son trapilho! 1. Prendre les 4 brins de trapilho et les plier en 2, caler le pli autour de son orteil (ou poignée de porte, ou pied de table... au choix) 2. 3. et 4. 5. 6. Commencez la première rangée de nœuds à environs 18 cm plus bas que la tresse puis ouvrez les brins. Faire une deuxième rangée de nœuds (il y en a toujours 4) environs 15 cm plus bas... Et enfin, environs 10 cm plus bas faire un nœud géant avec les 8 fils. Glissez-y un pot, bol soucoupe... et mettez-y ce que vos voudrez! Vous pouvez en faire de toutes tailles, même des doubles! longueur dans les fils et répéter l’opération du début après le nœud géant...) Vous pouvez aussi changer de matières, prendre de la corde, du ruban... Des dizaines et dizaines de différentes possibilités s'offrent à vous! À demain pour de nouvelles idées et belle journée!

Okay, guys. This is my first tutorial, and it's pretty basic. If you have any questions, please ask them in the comments and I'll respond. It's instructions for making a tool belt apron like the one I mentioned in an earlier post. The tool belt apron was one of the first things I ever made and there is no pattern. These are one of the projects that are ideal for using up vintage sheets. If you have a side seam left on the sheet, cut it off. Make a double fold along the bottom edge of the fabric and iron it in place. Once you have it ironed, sew a straight stitch the whole way across to make the hem. I usually make the pockets about 7 inches deep, but you can play around with it to see what suits you. Once you have your fabric lined up the way you want it, iron it in place and then make a small double fold along both short sides. At this point, the apron should look something like this. You have all the edges finished and one long pocket running across the front. And voila!

Thankfully everyone seems to be making a switch from plastic to lasting when it comes to shopping bags, so here’s another fun little tutorial on customizing one to make it oh so cute. You might notice a lot of doilies in my recent diy projects. Since I was getting so many ready for A Christmas Gathering I used a lot of the same materials…monograms seems to be pretty popular now too. My friend Cindy called while I was working on this and suggested I just go ahead a put a “W” on it for her, I happily obligied. Canvas bag ($2.00 when on sale at Hobby Lobby), fabric paint, paper doily, Krylon Paper Finishes Adhesive Spray : Spray doily with paper spray adhesive and press down on the bag (not shown). : Gently paint over the holes – I recommend paint meant for fabric, not crafts. : Peel back doily before paint dries.
