These Amazing Hanging Hotel Rooms Let Guests Camp In Trees Most treehouses, whether they’re simple backyard platforms or tiny homes where people live full-time, are made by whacking nails into the side of a tree. But architects decided to take an approach that’s a little more tree-friendly in this design for a new resort in an ecological reserve: Each treehouse is suspended in midair from a simple collar that lets the supporting tree keep growing. The idea came from a trip one of the architects had taken to Japan, where he saw trees supported with wires to protect their branches from heavy snow in the winter. “It was something that always stuck in my mind,” says Tye Farrow, a senior partner at Farrow Partnership Architects. “I sort of translated it over and said, why don’t we use the natural mast of the tree and bring cables to support the treehouse so that construction won’t damage the tree itself?”'

Round House Design Offers a Unique Architectural Experience This beautiful Round House is a unique home design concept where soft curves replace the dusty corners of a typical four-sided home. Developed by L.A.-based architecture firm Johnston Marklee, the completely open interior space is enclosed by floor to ceiling windows, allowing light to radiate throughout the space from all around. For more privacy, sliding doors can be pulled closed to section off the space into separate rooms.

Villa F, Greece Villa F by the Hornung & Jacobi Architecture firm is located in the beautiful coastal region of Rhodes, Greece. It is a spectacular holiday home construction, with the entrance built at the base of the site within the three meter-high dry stone wall that separates the house from the coastal road. The ground floor hosts a living space with stunning views out onto the ocean while maintaining privacy, with sleeping and bathing quarters located on the top floor. The unusual shape of the building provides a chimney-like effect which creates a cooling airflow system and allows light to flood in through the super-sized skylights. A swimming pool stretches the length of the ground floor terrace, leading to guest residences which are set apart from the main home.
