CREEPN’CRAWL’S ARTIST MATT FRENCH | WeBringJustice's Blog
Matt French is a mad prolific artist, dedicated to the skateboard art. He’s a real skateboarder too. He has lived his childhood in the 80′s so we have the same skate graphic inspirations and references. For me it’s a kinda fresh Jim Phillips with a creepy twist! He has done tons of graphics (Pocket Pistols, Volcom, LibTech..), always manually with pen, ink and paint, full of crazy details and smart ideas.

Street Art, art with impact! EDITO #70 | May-June 2023 At a time when water usage restrictions have never been applied so early in the season, the questioning of climate change raised by Kurar in Surbanisation on the cover of GraffitiART #70 is extremely topical.Kurar’s commitment conveys urgent messages, through stencils, spray cans and brushes, about the environment, ethics, and social issues… For Petite Poissonne, her talent for catchphrases heightens the impact of her aphorisms. In a graphic world all his own, Shaka deconstructs the human figure in style that is a blend of hyperrealism and anthropology. As for the multi-skilled Gwendoline, she sets off to conquer vast urban spaces. Long live Street Art!

Swings: Los Angeles
Jeff installed swings in San Francisco, in the Marshall Islands, Panama and across Los Angeles, thanks to a grant from The Awesome Foundation. It’s a universal message. An appeal to celebrate the passions of our youth, to give in to simplistic urges, but mostly, to remind people of the difference a smile can make in their day and the infectious effect that smile has on those they encounter. Visit swingsetting.org to be a part of ther next swings project.
