Scarves are quickly becoming my favorite accessory. They are so cute and I love them all. Crochet, pretty printed fabrics, infinity scarves – they add so much color and fun to an outfit. Plus I love the extra layers since I am pretty much always cold. They can be super easy to sew up too – especially today’s 1 Hour Floral and Lace Infinity Scarf! You can decide you need something fun to add to your outfit and make this up before you head out the door.

Button Statment Rings It’s September and that means it’s time to add another statement piece to your collection…. obviously! I heart almost every piece Nicole Richie designs for House Of Harlow 1960, especially her oversized rings. As amazing as these rings are they’re also an easy DIY.

DIY Friendship Necklace As soon as Lauren and I saw this editorial in Flare Magazine, we knew we had to recreate these awesome, friendship bracelet-like necklaces. We promise they are super easy to make and the perfect way to pass the time during those long summer roadtrips. To make a 2-tone necklace, cut a long piece of rope and wrap two different colors of embroidery thread around its own bobbin. Tie a starter knot along with the two colored threads you are using, leaving at least 3 inches of slack, Tape down the slack to a flat surface or safety pin it something that will help keep it in place (feeling nostalgic yet?). Lay the color that isn’t being used (shown here in purple) in your left hand, along with the rope, and hold them taut.

Here are ten of our favorite DIY wall art projects to make this week. 1. DIY Box Braid Necklace The moment we saw Phillip Lim‘s Box Braid Collar Necklace, we were immediately overcome with a wave of nostalgia. Our memories of a neon, plastic box braid lanyard was suddenly transformed into a sophisticated leather jewelry component. Honestly, brilliant! Inspired by our fondness of Lim’s necklace and our love of utilizing hardware, we made our own interpretation of a box braid necklace.

New Ring Designs November 24th, 2010 A while ago I bought lots of antique silver spoon sets when we visited Colin’s sister Morag and her family over the summer as they live near Spoon Central – a little village called Horncastle that is full to the brim with small antique shops. As I’ve been without my camera for what seems like months, I’ve not been able to photograph any of my ‘work in progress’ for a while. 10 Pretty Ways to Display your Necklaces at Home {DIY} {Shelterness} {Gadora Wilder} {be different act normal} {monaluna} {mustard & sage – originally from decor8}

Sugar Bee Crafts: sewing, recipes, crafts, photo tips, and more!: Giant Picture - tutorial! I posted awhile an image that showed off the giant picture I made for my girls’ room – finally, the tutorial is here! It was so cheap – around $13 (that’s $8 for the print, and another $5 worth of an $11 foam board because you won’t need to use the whole board….) UPDATE Sept 2012: – – I LOVE this project so much that I made another one for my Dining Room – and this time I mounted it on plywood. DIY Woven Bead Necklace After a little inspiration from Diva (seen in this post), I decided to try out something similar with a whole lot of beads I bought (initially reserved for S and my craft day, but I couldn't wait that long... We'll have to make a larger more epic version!). Not too shabby, ey? Here's another (easy) DIY for you to try - complete with a short video this time!!
