L'ISC-PIF repose sur une collaboration entre un large spectre d'organismes d'enseignement et de recherche. L'ISC-PIF est également porteur d'un Domaine d'Intérêt Majeur (DIM) de la Région Île-de-France, qui par ce bias, a eu un rôle fondateur dans le développement de l'ISC-PIF.
