Sarcastic Sayings About Life

Sarcastic Sayings About Life
Sarcasm is an obscure form of humor that needs an acquired taste to appreciate. If you are a fan of Chandler Bing from the popular series, 'Friends', you know what I am trying to say. That guy just keeps coming up with sarcastic lines all the time. Sarcasm is disguised humor and mockery which can even pass as a straight statement if not understood carefully. If you are someone like 'Joey' (from the same series 'Friends'), you will have a tough time detecting it. That's the beauty of sarcasm. Superbly Sarcastic Sayings Here are some sarcastic literary pearls by some great minds. "I am not young enough to know everything." - Oscar Wilde "Some cause happiness wherever they go; others whenever they go." - Oscar Wilde "Marriage is the chief cause of divorce." - Groucho Marx "History teaches us that men and nations behave wisely once they have exhausted all other alternatives." - Abba Eban "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." - Albert Einstein

Self-Education Quotes Over the coming months, this blog will give suggestions for how to become a “self-made scholar,” – a person who takes control of his or her own learning. Schools can give you a lot of opportunities, but relying on schools to give you an education is ridiculous. I have a graduate degree, and I’ve learned more from library books and websites than I’ve ever learned in class. But, don’t take my word for it. Check out these self-education quotes from some very perceptive thinkers: Temperament Website - Portrait of the Rational Mastermind (INTJ) All Rationals are good at planning operations, but Masterminds are head and shoulders above all the rest in contingency planning. Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off on their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be. Masterminds are rare, comprising no more than one to two percent of the population, and they are rarely encountered outside their office, factory, school, or laboratory. Although they are highly capable leaders, Masterminds are not at all eager to take command, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead.

To sleep less and dream more If for a moment God were to forget that I am a rag doll and granted me a piece of life, I probably wouldn't say everything that I think; rather, I would think about everything that I say. I would value things, not for their worth but for what they mean. I would sleep less, dream more, understanding that for each minute we close our eyes, we lose sixty seconds of light. I would walk when others hold back, I would wake when others sleep, I would listen when others talk.

People That Come Into Your Life. - StumbleUpon Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there... to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but when you lock eyes with them, you know that every moment that you are with them, they will affect your life in some profound way. Sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would have never realized your potential, strength, will power or heart. 40 Belief-Shaking Remarks From a Ruthless Nonconformist If there’s one thing Friedrich Nietzsche did well, it’s obliterate feel-good beliefs people have about themselves. He has been criticized for being a misanthrope, a subvert, a cynic and a pessimist, but I think these assessments are off the mark. I believe he only wanted human beings to be more honest with themselves. He did have a remarkable gift for aphorism — he once declared, “It is my ambition to say in ten sentences what others say in a whole book.” A hundred years after his death, Nietzsche retains his disturbing talent for turning a person’s worldview upside-down with one jarring remark. An Essay by Einstein "How strange is the lot of us mortals! Each of us is here for a brief sojourn; for what purpose he knows not, though he sometimes thinks he senses it. But without deeper reflection one knows from daily life that one exists for other people -- first of all for those upon whose smiles and well-being our own happiness is wholly dependent, and then for the many, unknown to us, to whose destinies we are bound by the ties of sympathy.
