................................... : JUDIT CANELA/ Illustration/ G.Design CELESTE BYERS ADRIAN TOMINE Rcaxero SEAN MORRIS I was stoked to be asked to co-curate the new issue of Australian art mag Kingbrown, alongside Tom Groves from Black Canyon Projects. I’ve been a big fan for years, so it was pretty dreamy to able to put together the line-up and interview a whole bunch of all time favourite artists and friends…. including Skinner, Hellen Jo, Saner, Malarko, Stevie Gee, Michael C Hsiung, Brendan Monroe, Lugosis, Cone The Weird, Simon Hanselmann, Sheryo, Matt Furie, Aiyana Udesen and Albert Reyes. The mag comes with an embossed cover by Brendan Monroe, a poster by Malarko, sticker by Sheryo and a glow in the dark embroidered patch by Stevie Gee - all sealed inside a silkscreened brown bag designed by Future Colors of America. Thanks to everyone who helped pull this together. Had so much fun working on this 30 metre all-brush wall with Ghostpatrol -in Bunbury, Western Australia for the awesome Re.Discover Festival. Sugar Mountain Festival, Melbourne: Flag designs by Ghostpatrol and I. Photo by Cale Rodriguez.
