Emozioni: kit didattico con emoticons - Jack Potato Lo spunto per la creazione del lavoro di oggi lo devo ad un testo che ho acquistato per le mie figlie l’anno scorso, “EMOZIONARIO – dimmi cosa senti – della Nord-Sud edizioni” perché come mamma e maestra spesso affronto il delicato e complesso tema delle emozioni. Scoprire, identificare e differenziare le emozioni come suggerisce questo EMOZIONARIO è un sistema per educare i piccoli in modo che provino le loro emozioni senza turbamenti, perché scoprano se stessi e possano diventare adulti consapevoli e strutturati per affrontare le sfide della vita. Ho pensato ad un pacchetto, un kit didattico per introdurre il lessico anche in inglese e viverlo quotidianamente in classe, insieme alle altre strutture del classroom language. Come ormai saprai, ho tre quinte e i miei alunni conoscono bene i simboli degli emoticons, li trovo immediati e facili da ricordare. Attività sul verbo avere - Jack Potato Oggi vi propongo una scheda didattica per la costruzione di brevi frasi con il verbo avere. Ovviamente tale attività andrà proposta solo al termine di un percorso più completo, sviluppato a partire dall’oralità. Sono numerosi i giochi che si possono realizzare sul verbo avere, a partire dai materiali posseduti dagli alunni stessi. Io, per esempio, ho proposto moltissime attività orali. Eccone alcune: L’insegnante mostra una serie di oggetti e gli alunni, per alzata di mano, devono formulare semplici frasi ( I have goto a red pen, I have got a blue and purple pencil case…).Catena domanda e risposta: comincia l’insegnante a porre una semplice domanda (Luigi, have you got a red pen?) Inizialmente ho introdotto solo le prime due persone e la forma affermativa, per passare poi gradualmente alle forme negativa e interrogativa e alle altre persone. E tu? Copioni teatrali per bambini in lingua inglese per la scuola primaria A teatro si recita. Solo quando gli alunni hanno memorizzato la parte verbale, iniziate le prove in teatro. Ogni alunno deve decidere con quali gesti accompagnare le sue parole e si concentrerà sul tono della voce che deve essere molto forte e più lento del solito. Se si recita in inglese infatti bisogna accompagnare le frasi con gesti MOLTO eloquenti e dare il tempo al pubblico di capire. Date anche la regola dei piedi: i piedi degli attori devono puntare al pubblico: in questo modo non gli darano mai le spalle. Il busto invece si può girare per seguire chi sta parlando in quel momento, dando così l'impressione di una recita meno ingessata e più dinamica. Altro trucco: quando i bambini sono in scena trovate un posto in cui dirigere e suggerire. Soprattutto SORRIDETE! E come mi dispiace non poter mostrare le foto dei loro sorrisi.

Classroom Commands On the first day of class students learn the vocabulary related to inside classroom actions. Make it easy for them to understand and respond to the commands. The ability to follow directions requires daily practice. Use the commands in class as often as you can. Using the word and picture flashcard will help students focus with all the directions given in English and help you not to translate. Most of the time students don´t know what to do when you give a command, the visuals guide the students to complete the command. Get them here. The commands should be clear, specific, and in a positive manner as in the flashcards starting with a verb. Teacher: Sit down. I created a set of commands symbols to represent the imperatives (included in the file). Don´t use questions in a command, it can be thought as a request, like whether you can do it or not. Teacher: Can you please write your name ? The correct form is: Please, write your name. Teacher: Listen to me. Stand up next to your desk.
