Glittered IZZE Bottles

Glittered IZZE Bottles
The next thing I wanted to do to the IZZE bottles was glitter them. You can check out how I drilled the holes in the back of the bottles here. I used Goo Gone to take off the sticky residue that was left over from the label. Then I taped off the area I wanted to glitter. I brushed mod podge on the bottom part of the bottle then sprinkled on the glitter. I left them dry a few minutes. Then carefully peeled the blue tape off. So how do you like the glittered bottles? Have a Wonderful Wintery Weekend!

Hello from Copenhagen! I’m a major Oh Happy Day fan so I’m most happy and honored to start sharing some ideas with you. Stage DIY Party: Confetti Egg Game Apr 18 This post is by my friend Rebecca Wright who will now be doing a column on Oh Happy Day. She throws some of my favorite parties I’ve ever been to like: her bicycle wedding, her bus birthday party, and her film festival birthday party. I’m so happy to have her here. I love parties that involve surprises. DIY Party: Glitter Confetti Eggs Confetti eggs (aka Cascarones) are like mini pinatas for your head. We decided to shake things up in our hunt this year by turning it into more of a game. Party Rules * Hide your confetti eggs as you would normal eggs, and let your friends go hunting for them.* Once everyone has collected the eggs (or as the eggs are found – your choice), the *kindly* smashing upon heads begins.* No throwing eggs! Variations: If you’re really feeling feisty (and don’t mind a messier activity), I think it would be fun to leave a few eggs raw, just to keep things interesting (and provide some real motivation for running from the egg smashers coming toward you). 1. 5.

A TIE-NY TOKEN OF APPRECIATION wowser...it just hit me that dad day is right around the corner...and hadn't done any projects for it!...so...here's a little last minute something something... now...not sure why ties have become the gift standard...because seems that the only time my father wore one was for funerals...but for all those dads that dress to impress...there's no reason why your keys shouldn't be as sophisticated!... so grab a old tie from years past and a key ring...that's all you'll need for this!... oh...you might notice that this isn't the same tie in the original pic...well...after finishing that one...i realized that i hadn't taken any pics along the way...so i had to grab a stand-in for the tutorial...just think of it as a stunt tie.... take the narrow tail end of the tie and pull it through the ring...about five inches...make sure the seam of the tie is facing down... fold tail sideways...so it is pointing to right...now you'll be able to see the seams... pull the tail through the ring....

mustache mug tutorial A fun, easy and silly gift to give the cute men in our lives this Father's Day. First, draw a mustache on the top of your mug with a sharpie marker. As you can see mine took a couple times to get right. Second, trace around the edges of the drawn mustache with your Pebeo pen. Next, fill in the mustache with your Pebeo gel stain. This is a picture of one coat. Be patient because it will take a couple of coats to get the look you are going for. Lastly, follow the directions of the stain. Ta Da...the cutest little mug I have ever seen. Fill with a favorite drink or candy and pass it on to the men in your life. Happy Father's Day! As you can tell, I might have a hard time giving mine up.
