DMT Vaults : Extraction : QT's DMT Extraction Guide NOTE OF WARNING:QT's DMT Extraction for Students is archived by Erowid as a historical document. The process as described has been critiqued as flawed and dangerous several ways. Safer and more effective DMT extraction and purification techniques have been developed and made available in the years since the document below was created. For one such process, see Noman's "DMT for the Masses". Specific concerns regarding QT's tek, detailed below, were sent to Erowid on behalf of the community at The DMT Nexus, who note: "Time and time again, people have come to The DMT Nexus or other web forums because they were following QT's tek and it either didn't work or they ran into serious issues trying to follow it. Health and Safety Concerns 1) The tek recommends using hydrochloric acid without appropriate guidance on safe handling. 2) While the tek mentions the health hazards of working with dichloromethane (DCM), it fails to note the flammability hazards of naphtha and ether. Culture Vaults : Resonant Frequencies and the Human Brain One of the great revelations of 20th century science is that all existence can be broken down into simple wave functions. Every photon, energy emission, and elementary particle rings with its own unique wave signature. When we see a color, we are actually seeing a distinct frequency of visible light. By studying the way that waves interact with other waves, researchers have found that even low-powered oscillations can have enormous effects on standing waves, physical structures, and even the human brain. Tesla first realized the massive potential of resonant waves in 1898 when he performed a simple experiment with an electromechanical oscillator the size of an alarm clock. In a later experiment using the same principle, Tesla clamped an oscillator to one of the exposed ground floor beams of a half built ten-story steel building. "The principle cannot fail," Tesla would say. Monroe's Big Discovery The Neural Radio Entrain Your Brain Well boys and girls, there you have it.

Modern Shamanism, by Serge Kahili King Article Modern Shamanism by Serge Kahili King "You look more modern than I thought you'd be," said the visitor as we sat in my comfortable living room overlooking the ocean that surrounds the island of Kaua'i. He glanced at my large screen TV, the VCR, and the Tabora seascape on the wall with a faint trace of disapproval. Clearly I did not fit his model of what a shaman is supposed to look like. His remark was typical of many visitors who expect - perhaps even hope - to find me wearing some kind of robe or sarong and living in primitive simplicity in a cave or a forest far away from the amenities of civilization. In the old and ancient days the shaman - who was a healer of mind, body and circumstances - was right in the midst of tribal or village life. Now shamanism is experiencing a revival of interest and freedom. A modern shaman (or "urban" shaman, as I often say) is one who uses the ancient knowledge in the context of our present social and cultural environment.

DMT ~ Water Spirit In my descriptions of psychedelic experiences thus far, I have attempted to describe the range of effects that most users encounter. However, in some cases psychedelic experiences can become quite unique and personal. I've had a most unusual relationship with N,N-DMT, which has led to my discovering a magical alliance between N,N-DMT and the spirit of water. When I first encountered N,N-DMT I quickly became an aficionado, and began smoking either 5-MeO or N,N-DMT two or three times each week. Over the next two years I used DMT approximately 100 times. My natural curiosity has led me to take psychedelics in as many different settings as possible. When I began smoking N,N-DMT my experiences over the first few months were bright, positive, enjoyable, and ever touching new dimensions. After about four months of use I began to lose some of the rapport I had experienced with DMT, accompanied by a reduction in the frequency of my use. From Mt. I had brought along some acid and a bit of DMT. 1.

amazon Ayahuasca Videos | Just another WordPress.com site DMT Candy for the Mind INTENSITY: 9 to 10 SAFETY FACTORS: 5-MeO-DMT is an MAO inhibitor. See list of items not to take with MAO inhibitors on page 19. [Erowid Note: This is probably wrong. Although 5-MeO-DMT is metabolized by MAO and occupies some amount of the enzyme, it is not considered an MAO-inhibitor in the normal sense.] Since DMT takes effect almost immediately, users normally lie down or sit in a reclining position prior to taking a hit. MATERIAL: N,N-Dimethyltryptamine and 5-Methoxy-Dimethyltryptamine are naturally occurring psychedelics found in a variety of plants around the world, several of which are native to the Amazon region. N,N-DMT and 5-MeO-DMT are also manufactured synthetically, as separate compounds, and sold on the underground market And although it's quite rare in the psychedelic underground, synthetic DMT is used much more often than DMT from natural sources. HISTORY: There are several plant sources of DMT, many of which have uniquely different histories of use. 1.

Mimosa tenuiflora Mimosa tenuiflora, syn. Mimosa hostilis (Jurema, Tepezcohuite) is a perennial tree or shrub native to the northeastern region of Brazil (Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte, Ceará, Pernambuco, Bahia) and found as far north as southern Mexico (Oaxaca and coast of Chiapas).[3] It is most often found in lower altitudes, but it can be found as high as 1000 m.[3] Description[edit] The fern-like branches have leaves that are Mimosa like, finely pinnate, growing to 5 cm long. Each compound leaf contains 15–33 pairs of bright green leaflets 5–6 mm long. Small Mimosa tenuiflora stem and roots The tree's bark is dark brown to gray. The tree's wood is dark reddish brown with a yellow center. Mimosa tenuiflora does very well after a forest fire, or other major ecological disturbance.[7] It is a prolific pioneer plant.[7] It drops its leaves on the ground, continuously forming a thin layer of mulch and eventually humus. "Ayahuasca and Creativity" -- Benny Shanon, Ph.D. Ayahuasca and Creativity Benny Shanon, Ph.D., Department of Psychology, The Hebrew University PDF version of this document As indicated in previous publications (Shanon, 1997, 1998a, 1999) I am a cognitive psychologist who is studying the phenomenology of the ayahuasca experience. My study is based on extended firsthand experience as well as on the interviewing of a great number of persons in different places and contexts. Phenomenologically, the effects of ayahuasca are multifarious -- they include hallucinatory effects in all perceptual modalities, psychological insights, intellectual ideations, spiritual uplifting and mystical experiences. As explained in Shanon (1998b), ayahuasca can also induce very impressive ideations. As emphasized in my book, some salient effects of ayahuasca pertain to overt performances.
