Power Napping: How To Fall Asleep Anywhere This is part 2 of my post from last week on how to design the perfect nap. Today, I’d like to continue by talking about how you can fall asleep no matter where you are. This is useful for napping in airports, couches, or at your desk if need be. The trick is to use sleep MP3s. They are so helpful (and far superior to a traditional alarm clock) for a few reasons. It’s too easy to make mistakes when setting an alarm for a nap. Some finals tips for the perfect nap: If you are sensitive to light, you may want to combine this with a sleep mask which will block out the light. Make sure you are as warm as possible, since just having cold feet or hands can be enough to prevent sleep. Finally, if you normally like to sleep on your side, and you don’t have a pillow handy, you may have to try sleeping on your back. Using these simple techniques, you will likely be able to fall asleep in most environments, and wake up ready to take on the day!

Train Your Brain to Focus - Paul Hammerness, MD, and Margaret Moore by Paul Hammerness, MD, and Margaret Moore | 1:32 PM January 18, 2012 Next time you are sitting in a meeting, take a look around. The odds are high that you will see your colleagues checking screens, texting, and emailing while someone is talking or making a presentation. Many of us are proud of our prowess in multitasking, and wear it like a badge of honor. Multitasking may help us check off more things on our to-do lists. Over the past decade, advances in neuroimaging have been revealing more and more about how the brain works. Here are three ways you can start to improve your focus. Tame your frenzy. Frenzy is an emotional state, a feeling of being a little (or a lot) out of control. What can you do? What can your team do? Apply the brakes. Your brain continuously scans your internal and external environment, even when you are focused on a particular task. What can you do? What can your team do? Shift Sets. What can you do? What can your team do?

Analyze Your Flawed Beliefs to Achieve Your Goals Artist collective An artist collective is an initiative that is the result of a group of artists working together, usually under their own management, towards shared aims. The aims of an artist collective can include almost anything that is relevant to the needs of the artist, this can range from purchasing bulk materials, sharing equipment, space or materials, through to following shared ideologies, aesthetic and political views or even living and working together as an extended family. Sharing of ownership, risk, benefits, and status is implied, as opposed to other, more common business structures with an explicit hierarchy of ownership such as an association or a company. Artist collectives have occurred throughout history, often gathered around central resources, for instance the ancient sculpture workshops at the marble quarries on Milos in Greece and Carrara in Italy. Top 10 Space-Saving Household Projects Whether you live in a tiny apartment or just have too much stuff, there's likely a lot of space you aren't using, like your walls, your ceilings, or the nooks and crannies in your furniture. Here's how to use it most efficiently.P 10. Hang Your Bike on the WallP SExpand If you're in an apartment, you probably don't have a lot of great places to store your bike outside, and it can take up a lot of floor space just sitting around. 9. If you've already exhausted the storage nooks under your bed, the ceiling is ripe with unused space. 8. If floor space is at a premium, you can maximize it by moving those bookshelves up onto the wall, freeing up the floor for storing other things (and making it easier to clean). 7. Most animals are pretty small, but it seems like their stuff takes up as much space as yours. 5. 4. 3. 2. 1.

It was easy, painless, free and since I've signed up for it- I've gotten one email (aside form standard registration emails) saying my account up to that point was fine with no suspicious activities reported. Otherwise I barely remember it's there. so that says something.

How To Get Rich | Jeff Walker So this is the blog post where I tell you exactly how to get rich. Now I know with a title like “How to Get Rich”, I’m gonna lose a lot of people right away… but don’t make that mistake of clicking away. Keep reading, this is legit. Actually, I suppose there are lots of ways to get rich… but I’m going to share with you what I think is the most surefire way to get rich – it’s the path that worked for me. The amazing thing is that, as you’ll see, it’s so darn simple. Now the reality is that most people won’t get rich… I suppose that’s just the way the world works. And I will also tell you that this formula is not 100% guaranteed… because I’m sure there are people that have worked this formula and NOT gotten rich. OK, enough preamble… let’s get to it. STEP 1. IMPORTANT: for some people (including me) it’s not really a financial measurement – it’s something else. NOTE: here’s a little splash of reality – you will never be finished with Step 1. Now I know it sounds impossibly simple.
